Meaningful Conversations with Your Loved Ones on This Valentine’s Day

Are you husband and wife or girlfriend or boyfriend? A box of delicious chocolates, a cute teddy bear, and a fancy dinner at a restaurant with your loved one are nice, but do they deepen your relationship? Well, not exactly. What can really strengthen your bond with your partner are meaningful conversations.

So, this Valentine’s Day when you’re all dressed up in your nicest clothes, having a romantic candlelight dinner with your partner, start a conversation about something that matters to you.

Out of ideas? We’ve got your back. Here are some Valentine’s Day wishes and ideas for thoughtful conversations that you can have with your partner on 14th February.

Here’s your way to spark meaningful conversation with questions on Valentine day and questions about Valentines day.

Dreams

Talking about your dreams can be tricky; some people might not even want to talk about them because it’s such a powerful subject. What if your partner says something you don’t want to hear? But let us assure you, if this conversation is put into motion, it can transform lives in exciting ways.

Happiest Day of Your Life

Get to know your partner a little better by talking about what makes them happy. Ask each other about your happiest day of life and why you chose this particular day. Be prepared to get surprised. Even if you’ve lived with them for 30 years, you may discover some things that are completely new to you.

Future Plans

Everyone has their own priorities, goals, and motivations; getting to know what drives your partner is very important. This way you, too, can become each other’s support systems. You’ll know what matters to them, and you’ll have each other’s backs when it’s necessary.

What Do You Think About?

Talk about a news event or an idea that you have, then ask your partner “What do you think?” These simple four words can help you create a warm and profound connection with your partner.

What Do You Wish to Spend More Time on Each Week?

This question will help you understand your partner’s interests and hobbies. While this can be similar to the dreams conversation, the language in this one is more pragmatic. By finding out what your partner enjoys and loves, you can help them figure out how to incorporate it into their day-to-day life.

Tell Me Something I Don’t Know

No matter how much time you spend together, there are still some things that you might not know about your partner. This year’s Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to find out!

Ask yourselves one thing that you both might not know about each other. We suggest that you stay open to the idea of getting surprised, as this can reveal astonishing things about your partner regardless of how well you think you know them.

Passion in Life

One of the most thoughtful conversations you can have with your loved one on Valentine’s Day is about passion. This will bring your fancy dinner to life. Tapping into someone’s passion can help you understand them so much better. And once you know what your partner loves, you can help them achieve those things in life. This will strengthen your bond beyond thought.

Fulfilment in Life

This topic in conversation might be similar to that of passion, as the answers you get might be the same, or maybe not. Talking about what gives you the most fulfilment in life with your partner can be extremely rewarding.

It might be small acts of kindness that help them feel accomplished in life, or might be one big thing that happened a while ago; whatever it is you’ll find out something about your partner that you might not have known before.

Do You Require Support or Help?

Ask your partner if there’s something they need your help or support with. The answer might be nothing, but you’re making them feel loved and supported by talking about this. And that is what we all need on Valentine’s Day. On the other hand, you might identify where your loved one needs help and then you can do your best to provide it to them.

Share the Reasons You Love Each Other

You already tell your partner that you love them, they might say the same to you. But on Valentine’s Day, make sure you also tell each other why you feel that way. Talk openly about what you treasure about each other and why you think your partner is so special. This will help end your day on the best note.

While some say actions speak louder than words, we believe that sometimes, words are the only thing that can make a difference.

Words can help partners understand each other, words can spread love, and words can strengthen bonds. This Valentine’s Day, have these meaningful conversations with your partner and we promise you you’ll have a great time.

Fill up a room with red heart balloons and candles and ask your partner the big question.

Pop the question first thing in the morning with some breakfast in bed.

18. The First Place You Kissed

Take your partner to the first place you shared a kiss, but this time you’ll also be asking them to marry you.

19. Outside Their Window

Do a fairy tale slash 80s romantic movie move and stand outside your partner’s window with a ring in your hand. Throw pebbles at the glass to get their attention.

Ask someone to take your photo with your partner. As you guys get into a pose, whisper the question in your partner’s ear. Take a photo of that exact moment.

Perfect Flank Steak

https://www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/recipes/a58238/easy-flank-steak-marinade-recipe/

Making a steak can seem daunting, but this recipe has made it pretty easy to prepare fairly tough-cut meat. This recipe by Delish has only four ingredients for the simple marinade, and the results depend on how you grill it.

All you need is 1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil ¼ c. low sodium soy sauce, 2tbsp lime juice, and 2 tbsp packed brown sugar. Mix these ingredients in a large bowl. Before tossing the steak in it, season it with some freshly ground black pepper and kosher salt. Marinate the meat for about 30 minutes at least.

The secret to a juicy steak is the time you give it for marination; the more time you give it, the better it’ll taste. The next step is grilling. Pre-heat your grill to medium-high before placing the steaks on it and cooking it for 6 minutes per side. Your juicy flank steak is ready! Bon appetite.

Marry Me Chicken

Give your partner a subtle hint by making Delish’s delicious Marry Me Chicken. This dish can also be prepared with only a few ingredients including skin-on chicken thighs, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, heavy cream, tomatoes, parmesan, and chicken broth.

Once you have all the ingredients, season the chicken generously and put it in a preheated oven. Change sides every 5 minutes. Follow the rest of the steps from the recipe and we assure you your partner will fall in love with your cooking skills.

Hear Shaped Lasagna Bundt

The first step is the easiest. Boil the pasta layers and keep them aside. Now you only have to prepare the mince and the sauce. Head over to the official recipe by Food Network to find out the exact amount of ingredients. We’ll give you a brief overview of what to expect when cooking this dish.

Cut onions and fry them in oil until golden brown. Then stir in the garlic and oregano. When it becomes fragrant, toss in the beef along with pepper and salt. When the beef is just cooked through, you’re supposed to stir in some tomato paste, tomatoes, sugar, water, and bring everything to a boil. Put it on low heat till it’s reduced and move onto making the sauce.

Once you’ve made the lasagna, you’ll be thanking us for one of the best Valentine’s dinner ideas.

If your partner is a seafood lover, surprise them with lobster bisque for dinner. It’s one of the best ideas for date night.

Start by melting 2 tablespoons of butter in a Dutch oven and adding the lobster shells to it. Cook them until golden. This is when you’ll stir in the sherry and put it on the heat until the liquid is reduced. The next step is to add garlic, celery, bay leaves, peppercorns, salt, and water to the pan and bring the mixture to a boil.

Cook it on medium-low heat and simmer till only 2 1/2 cups of the broth remain. Pour the mixture through a strainer. Discard the solids and set the rest aside.

Moving on, melt more butter in a skillet and add tomato paste, carrots, onions, mushrooms, cayenne, and a little bit of salt. Stir the ingredients and cook them till all the vegetables are tender. Add some wine, bring it to a boil. Then add the lobster stock and cook it for 10 minutes.

After this mixture is ready, blend it and turn it into a puree. Add milk and cream and bring it to a boil. Lastly, add lobster meat and garnish it. Your lobster bisque is ready in just 40 minutes, and it’s going to be one of the most delicious Valentine’s Day treats.

How to Know You’re Ready to Say, “I Love You”

I love you valentines!

Feelings can be confusing. Relationships can be tricky. You might be dating someone for a while now and have been catching feelings, but whether you should reveal it to them or not is something you can’t decide. There are a number of reasons that may be holding you back from confessing your love. So, how do you when the time is right? Would you go for punny valentines or i love you puns? Well, not at all!

Chances are you have an internal war with yourself. Who should say it first? What if it’s too soon? What if they don’t feel the same way and you end up feeling rejected and embarrassed?

To put all these questions to rest once and for all, you need to tell your partner you love them. Just make sure you know you’re ready to say I Love You.

Here’s how to find out if you’re ready to express your feelings.

Search Your Heart – Way To Do It!

You might be confusing attraction with love, which is not uncommon. To make sure that it is really love you’re feeling, you need to introspect and search your heart for answers.

Love doesn’t only mean desiring someone for their positive qualities; you need to see them as a whole person and love them despite their flaws. Before confessing your undying love for the person you’re dating, take your time and figure out if what you’re feeling is really love and not the neurochemicals trying to trick you into believing that.

You’re Not Afraid to Be Vulnerable

You’ll know you’re in love with your partner if you’re not afraid to be vulnerable in front of them. You know they won’t judge you for anything and you can be your true self around them.

Being able to put your guard down in front of your partner could be one of the signs that you’re ready to say I Love You to them. There aren’t many people you can be truly comfortable with, so if you’ve found someone like that, don’t let them get away. Confess your love and, if you’re lucky, they might feel the same way about you.

You Can Picture A Future With Them

Go somewhere quiet, close your eyes and take a deep breath. Think about your life five years from now. What do you see? Is your partner there with you? Can you see your future with them? Can you picture the two of you living together years from now, growing old, and still being as happy as you are right now?

If the answer to all these questions is “heck yeah!”, then go ahead and confess your love to them. You’re ready to say ‘I Love You’. We hope they’re ready to say, ‘I Love You, Too.’

They Are Your Best Friend

We believe friendship is a building block for any relationship. If you’ve started to consider your partner, your best friend, then you’ve achieved a great milestone in your relationship. It’s also one of the signs that could mean you’re ready to say ‘I Love You.’

Being best friends with someone means they are the first person you think of, both in bad and good times. You also value their advice on everything. Got someone like this in your life? Now you know what that means.

You Know Their Expectations

Sometimes people go into relationships wanting something casual. If the two of you had agreed on something like that at the beginning of your relationship but ended up catching real feelings, you need to discuss it with them. Assuming that they’ve also changed their mind just because you have would be a mistake.

Sit down with them and have a conversation about where you two stand. If it seems like they might be open to stepping into something serious, then you can consider coming clean and saying I Love You. Otherwise, it might be a good idea to hold back for a while longer.

Actions Speak Louder

If you can’t discuss this topic with your partner, then there’s another way you can judge if they love you the way you love them: by observing how they behave around you, you can find out if your partner is ready to hear the four-letter word.

Do they show you that they care about you in little ways? Do they message you because they miss you? Do they bring you lunch out of the blue? If yes, then you might not be the only one to have caught feelings. This is how you’ll know if your confession will be received positively.

Knowing when to say ‘I Love You’ can be tricky. It can often feel like a large emotional weight. But if you know you are in love with someone, we believe the right thing to do is take the risk and tell them. If you keep it to yourself, you may wind up regretting your decision.

Be bold in love. Be courageous. Follow your heart.

How Tell Your Valentine Exactly What They Mean To You

Have you been trying to express your love to the special person in your life for a while now? Well, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and it’s the perfect opportunity to tell your valentine exactly what they mean to you.

One of the best and most convenient ways to confess your feelings is by a sweet card. But, don’t just buy the first thing you see at a shop, it’s better to test your own creativity and design a card on your own.

When you put effort and time into something, it becomes extra special. If you make Valentine’s Day Card on your own, for example, it’ll be unique, personalized, and will hold great sentimental value both for you and the receiver.

Now that you have the first part down, you need to come up with a message for them that’ll show them exactly how you feel. Here are some message ideas to inspire you:

Messages for Her

If it’s the special woman in your life who you want to confess your undying love for, then tell her that you love and cherish her with all your heart. Write something like “I wanted to find someone I could live with. Instead, I found someone I can’t live without.” This sweet message in a cute card, with Valentine’s Day present, will leave her breathless.

Messages for Him

Your man is your greatest cheerleader. He’s always there to support you no matter what and you want to let him know how lucky you feel to have someone like him in your life. You can do that by crafting a romantic message for him this Valentine’s Day. Tell him his welcoming arms are your favorite place in the world and that he is the love of your life and the man of your dreams.

Message For Friends

Your closest friends know and understand you like no other. It’s important to show them that you appreciate their support and that you’ll always have their backs just like they’ve had yours. You can find inspiration in Bruno Mars’ ‘Count on Me’ song that goes like,

“If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea

I’ll sail the world to find you

If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can’t see

I’ll be the light to guide you

————————————-

You can count on me like one, two, three

I’ll be there

And I know when I need it, I can count on you like four, three, two

And you’ll be there”

Messages for Parents

You might not always think of your parents on Valentine’s Day, but after all the love they’ve given you, they deserve something special on the day that celebrates love. A card with a message from you would bring big smiles to their faces. Tell your mom and dad that they’re the best and that they are the reason you’ve become the person you are today.

These are if not 45 message ideas then some of the ideas of the message you can use in your Valentine’s Day cards. Hope you found the inspiration you were looking for.

How to Break Up Before Valentine’s Day

If a relationship has turned sour and your heart is not in it anymore, it’s better to break up before the most romantic day of the year arrives.

Yep, you read that right. While most people are likely to push through Valentine’s Day before breaking things off, we believe it’s better to do it before the holiday.

Margie Mauldin, a writer who penned the book called “Feedback Revolution,” says that ending a failing relationship before February 14th saves people from an unpleasant experience.

“On the emotional side, it’s a lot of energy. Valentine’s Day has a lot of expectations surrounding it. Having a person go through that when you’re just going to break up seems like double misery to me.”

If you think about it, what she says is right. Even if you think from a dollar and cents perspective, you can save up to $100 that you’ll be forced to spend on chocolates, roses, and a nice night out that you won’t even enjoy.

If you’ve decided to break up with your partner, just make sure you do it respectfully without making them feel worse than they already will.

Here’s how to break up before Valentine’s Day.

Make Sure It’s What You Really Want

Before you begin strategizing about how to break up with your partner before Valentine’s Day, make sure that it’s something you’re absolutely certain about. If you’re making this decision because of a recent fight or argument, stop right in your tracks.

Couples often get back together after days or weeks of separation, and this can make Valentine’s dinner a wee bit awkward. To avoid a situation like this, make a firm decision for all the right reasons.

Choose the Right Time

Deciding when to break up with her can be tricky. Truth be told, there’s never the perfect moment to execute the fractious act of breaking up, but to soften the blow for your soon-to-be-ex, you need to choose the best time.

Make sure they don’t have any important meetings, gatherings, or events on the calendar for the next few days. Also, ensure you’re not breaking things off too close to Valentine’s Day. Lastly, don’t spring it upon them when they’re least expecting it – or it’ll be a monumental blow.

Don’t Be Cruel

While you shouldn’t be completely dishonest, you also shouldn’t be flat-out blunt. If you’re not attracted to them, or you hate the way they chew their food, or you wish they would stop #hashtaging #the #life #out #of #Instagram #posts, keep it to yourself. The other person doesn’t need to know every detail.

Instead of hurting their feelings, just tell them that you two are in different places now or that your goals don’t align any longer. Make things easy on the other person by taking the high road.

Don’t Drag It

Keep the breakup conversation short and concise. You don’t want to have an hour-long discussion and share too many details, that’s just wrong. It’ll only lead to more pain and ruin Valentine’s spirit for both of you.

If you know the other person has been sensing a breakup, then the shorter your speech, the better. However, if it’s a total surprise for them, then you might want to elaborate just a little bit. The one thing you need to be mindful of during the conversation is not to repeat your arguments. When it seems that you both understand each other, stop the conversation right there.

Do It Face-to-Face

Cross off the call, WhatsApp, DMs, Facebook messages, Tweets, LinkedIn messages, letter in a bottle, and pigeons carrying letters from your ways to break up list. The one and only appropriate way to break up with someone is face to face. This shows that you respect the other person and value their sentiments and that you’re just a decent human being.

Listen Actively

When you’re done talking, it’s your turn to listen. Stop yourself from interrupting the other person when they are sharing their feelings with you. Hear them out. We’re not saying that you should change your mind, all we want to say is let them express their thoughts about the breakup.

It’s also important that you use appropriate body language; don’t send them mixed signals by conduct yourself inappropriately around them.

These are some things you should consider when breaking up with your partner before Valentine’s Day.

If you’re having second thoughts about it, you should know that relationships work based on honesty. You’re not being true to yourself if you’re pretending to be with someone when your heart’s not in it. In this case, breaking up is the best thing to do.

The Pros and Cons of Proposing on Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is undoubtedly the most romantic day of the year. Couples celebrate their love and express their affection for each other in many different ways. As 14th February of 2021 is just approaching, many couples might be thinking about taking their relationship to the next level.

If you’re planning a proposal for the love of your life this Valentine’s Day, you should know that there are both pros and cons of doing so on this international day.

We’ve made a list of 6 pros and 6 cons, so you don’t have to overthink:

Pros

Let’s start with the reasons why proposing to your partner on Valentine’s Day is a good idea.

It’s a Romantic Holiday

Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year; it’ll give you the perfect ambiance to propose to the special person in life. There will be red roses everywhere and you’ll easily get your hands on any decorations you need, including petals, chocolates, wine, teddy bears, and more.

You Can Plan A Weekend Getaway

This year, 14th February is falling on a Sunday, you know what that means? It means that you can plan a weekend getaway with your partner. Whether it’s a road trip or a weekend at a hotel room, you can enjoy your time together and on Sunday, you can pop the question.

It’ll Be Memorable

Valentine’s Day proposals are a good idea, as they can be extra special. You’ll remember it for the rest of your lives. Forgetting the day would be a chore as everything from the illuminated advertisements to the shop windows will keep reminding you of your big day even after years have passed.

Your Partner Might Be Hoping for It

If your partner is someone who loves Hollywood romantic movies and is a traditionalist, they might be hoping that you’ll pop the question on Valentine’s Day. Don’t let them down, get down on your knees right away!

The Themes Already Exists

Love is in the air, on Valentine’s Day. This will give you the perfect atmosphere as the backdrop of your proposal. The colors, the themes, you won’t have to worry about any of that. This way, you can focus all your time and energy on the most important things like the ring and the way you’re going to pop the question.

It’s More Intimate

If you’re someone who likes doing big romantic gestures on holidays, Valentine’s Day is the perfect time for you to propose to your partner. It’s an international holiday, but it’s not Christmas or Thanksgiving, which means that the newly engaged couple will have all the time to themselves.

Cons

Here are some reasons why you should reconsider your plan to propose on Valentine’s Day:

It’s Predictable

If you want your proposal to be a surprise, don’t do it on Valentine’s Day. To put it simply, it’s a cliché. Your partner might be expecting you to get down on your knee; it just won’t be that fun.

There will be Crowds

Going out for a fancy dinner and wine wouldn’t be such a great idea, as the restaurants will be packed with people. There will be noise and prying eyes, which may kill the romantic vibe of your proposal.

It’s Expensive

The prices are higher than usual on Valentine’s Day. Whether you’re shopping for the ring or for the decorations, it’ll cost you more than it should. You don’t want the proposal to make a dent in your wallet; after all, there’ll be an engagement party to throw later.

It’s An International Day

One of the most important reasons why you shouldn’t propose on Valentine’s Day is because it’s everybody’s day. You want to have a day dedicated just to you and your partner so everyone can find out how special your relationship is.

It’ll be A Constant Reminder If Things Go Wrong

You have to consider this: what if your partner says no? It’ll ruin Valentine’s Day for you entirely. And not for just one year, but for every year. It’ll be a constant reminder of rejection.

It Might be Bad Timing

Everyone is feeling super emotional and in love on the day of love. Proposing on this day might not be a good idea, as it’ll be difficult to navigate those feelings. Your partner might end up saying yes to you when they don’t entirely mean it, and nothing can be worse than that.

Proposing on Valentine’s Day could both be a good or a bad idea, depending on a variety of factors. Now that we’ve told you the pros and cons of getting engaged on Valentine’s Day, the decision is yours to make. As soon as the couple arrives, something goes extremely wrong. A red dot, similar to that of a laser aim from a rifle lands on the couple. Shots are fired, which makes the two run into the wilderness to save their lives. The rest of the film revolves around them trying to solve the mystery around the dot while surviving the extreme weather and circumstances.

I Care a Lot has a 93% approval rate on Rotten Tomatoes and has garnered positive responses from film critics all over the world.

Cheers

Cheers and all its 11 seasons are trending all over social media, but for a completely different reason: the show has been streaming on the website for years, but now it’s being taken down from Netflix and the viewers do not have it. We’re super sad to see the show get off from Netflix as its contract comes to an end with CBS.

You might no longer be able to watch Cheers, but there are many other Netflix shows and films that are trending in February 2021 that you can stream. There is simply too much to watch and only 28 days to do it.
