Chrissy Teigen suffers a miscarriage following a recent hospitalization for “excessive bleeding.”
She shared the devastating news on social media, stating that the family is in shock and deep pain with the news.
The couple, Chrissy and husband John Legend announced the pregnancy news in his music video for the song “Wild.” They conceived two children, Luna and Miles, through IVF treatments.
Though, the couple tried to conceive several times until in early Sept, when the news came in that Chrissy was pregnant. The doctor advised her to take bad rest for two weeks, it was later revealed that she was expecting a boy.
Later, her health started deteriorating and she ended up in the hospital for “excessive bleeding.” She said that she is having a hard time to come to digest the state of her pregnancy.
She explained that her placenta was really weak to hold the baby. She referred to her unborn child as the “strongest coolest dude in the shittiest house.” She said that his house was just falling apart and didn’t have a strong foundation to give him a life.
The signer, John Legend was also excited for the baby, calling it a “quarantine surprise” in an interview with a private news organization in August. He said, “We’re very excited and we’re grateful for all the well wishes that we’ve gotten from people all around the world.”
