Kylie Jenner, the queen of controversies, just turned 23 years old yesterday. And yes, exactly as you must be wondering, she is most likely to celebrate it in style.  

Last year, a young mogul rented a $200 million superyacht to celebrate her 22nd birthday.

At the age of 21, she was declared the world’s youngest “self-made” billionaire by Forbes; all credit goes to her thriving makeup company, Kylie Cosmetics. However, Forbes investigated in May, and it turned out that Jenner’s net worth was highly exaggerated and she is not a billionaire.

Jenner launched her cosmetic venture in 2015 and claimed to have gained 400 million profit in its initial 18 months, according to Forbes. Jenner sold out the majority of her stake in the cosmetics company to beauty conglomerate Coty Inc. for 600 million dollars, which worth the company at $1.2 billion.

But the magazine accuses that Jenner has over-exaggerated her company’s revenue, and reported that her company hasn’t made as much profit as what Jenner claimed. Like other businesses, Kylie’s cosmetic venture also has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Regardless of her confusing billionaire status, Jenner created a successful cosmetics empire, featured together with her family in a reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” including her exclusive “Life of Kylie,” spin-off show.

She initiated a clothing brand in-partnership with her sister, and become a powerful social media influencer and earned millions just by promoting products on the social media platform Instagram – all these things at the age when we were most probably thinking about an excuse for missing a class.
