2020 has been especially hard as we’ve had to say goodbye to some
of our most beloved actors and musicians this year. From Dallas Rapper Mo3’s death to DJ I_o’s death, there have been
countless mysterious deaths in 2020.

Dallas-based rapper Mo3, also
known as Melvin, died this year after getting shot in broad daylight on a
highway. As per the reports – rapper Mo3 killed, the
incident happened in a few minutes during the afternoon while he was traveling northbound on
I-35. An individual was going from the
same route and he had a firearm present on his vehicle. When he approached the
rapper on foot, he fired at him multiple times, and one of the shots eventually hit
him.

Apparently, the
shooting began right when the vehicles stopped and an assailant approached
Mo3’s car on foot. A bystander recalls this incident as he was also shot during
this gunfire. Both victims were quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but
unfortunately, Mo3 was already dead. The innocent bystander who got shot had
non-life-threatening injuries.
So far, no arrest
warrants have come out, but the case is still under investigation. Prior to his
death, Mo3 was signed to Boosie Badazz and the two collaborated in his album
Badass Mo3. He was, of course, best known for his song “Errybody (remix). He
had also collaborated with BoosieBadazz on another song.

You may remember this
guy as he produced and collaborated with Grimes on Violence. The musician was
born with the name Garret Falls Lockhart, and he died on Monday at the young
age of 30. The news was confirmed on his Twitter account.
“This extremely
talented spirit taught us that even if nothing matters, you can still lead with
love. Garrett’s truth and soul live on through the music he shared.” – read
the Twitter statement.
Lockhart was from
Washington DC, but he moved to LA and tried his best to become the face of the city’s electronic music scene. He released his album 444 two years ago, but his
most prominent work is undoubtedly Violence with Grimes.
He released songs on
Deadmau5’s Mau5trap label. The company responded to his sudden death by paying
tribute on the website. “Going to miss
you my dude, it was a real pleasure working with you and watching you succeed…
may you find rest, and let your music live on into eternity.”
FuntCase was also a big
fan of his work and he said: “Garrett my
dude. I had some awesome times with you man, I hope you’re resting well. Say
hello to cookie for me.”

One of the most tragic
news that we started the year with was the death of Kobe Bryant. He was 41
years old at the time and he was traveling with his 13-year-old daughter
Gianna, who also died in the plane crash. The saddest part is that his wife
found out about his death through the news as it was flashed all over.

and untimely death of the year has to be of Chadwick Boseman, our Black
Panther. Before finding fame in the Marvel cinematic universe, he essayed the
titular roles of many accomplished movies. He died of cancer at the age of 43.

The star of Glee died
mysteriously this year as she went missing in July when she rented a boat along
with her 4-year-old son. Her body was found after three days on the 13th
of July by several authorities. This was strangely the 7th death
anniversary of Cory Monteith, another Glee alumni.

previously starred in iconic films like Jerry Maguire and Twins died from breast cancer in July. She was battling the disease for two years, according to
husband John Travolta. They got hitched in 1991 and were considered one of
Hollywood’s most loved couples.
