After season 3’s abrupt ending due to lockdown measures, fans’
all-time favorite crime comedy drama “Good
Girls” has been renewed for a fourth season.
The NBC comedy drama follows three Michigan mothers, who are
fed up of playing by the rules and decide to turn to the world of crime such as
burglary, money laundering, and racketeering. To their surprise, this life
actually suits them (and that’s bizarrely quite entertaining and strangely
empowering).
The series has found a dedicated fandom over the course of its
three seasons. The passionate fans are desperate to know the details about the
upcoming season after the last season was cut short due to a halt in production
amidst the pandemic.
While talking to a media organization, Retta said that the season’s
premature ending actually worked really well for the show. She said, “Oddly
enough, because it ended the way it did in the park… at least it gives it a
little button that works for an ‘early finale.”
NBC announced the news of a renewed season last year in May.
The filming has already begun and, if everything goes by the schedule, it won’t
be long enough to see the new season debuting on our TV screens.

As you know already, the fourth season was announced on May
15th 2020. It means that the filming might have already began, so we
are likely to see the return of the show some time in this year.
It seems as though everything is getting back to normal, so
we can expect season 4 sooner than anticipated. In fact, earlier reports
suggest that the first episode of season 4 will premiere on March 7, 2021 on
NBC.

All the three main actresses – Christina Hendricks, Mar
Whitman, and Retta – will be returning for season 4. According to a number of
media reports, the previous Good Girls’
cast members such as Matthew Lillard, Manny Montana, and Reno Wilson will also
be joining the lead cast members. Lauren Lapkus appeared in season 3, episode 8
as an FBI agent, Phoebe Donnegan, whose goal is to arrest the trio. So, we can
expect to see more of her in the upcoming season.
Last year, in November, a media organization reported that Jonathan
Silverman will be joining the show as a recurring role of Dave, a member of
Secret Service who’s assigned a task to “bring down the Good Girls.” So, be
prepared to see Dave and Phoebe in action to bring the girls down together with
their collective resources.

Spoilers
of season 3 of Good Girls ahead!
The show left us with Phoebe getting closer to find proofs
against the main girls after getting her hands on Ruby’s phone. We see her
meeting Beth, Ruby, and Annie in the park, where they are celebrating their
recent accomplishments. The women seem uncomfortable, as they continuously dodge
her questions. We don’t really know the direction this story is going in.
What does Phoebe find in Ruby’s Phone? Does she find any
evidence? How is Dave going to be involved into all of this? You will find all
your questions answered, hopefully, when the season 4 comes out.
All the three seasons of Good
Girls are currently streaming on Netflix.
The official trailer of the season 4 hasn’t been released
yet. And when it is released, we will be the first one to inform you. So stay
