As Valentine’s day is rounding up, we’re starting to miss our favorite franchise, Fifty Shades of Grey. All three movies of the series, Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker, and Fifty Shades Freed were released in time for viewers to enjoy them on Valentine’s Day with their partners for three years, in 2015, 2017, and 2018 respectively. We wish author E.L. James writes more books for the Fifty Shades of Grey Franchise, so more movies can be made, and we can keep on watching them.

1. Jamie Started Out as a Model

With Jamie’s excellent acting skills, it’s hard to believe that he wasn’t always an actor. It’s interesting to know that he actually started out as a model and appeared in campaigns for the biggest names in the industry, including Armani, Christian Dior, and Calvin Klein. Jamie was actually discovered as the face of the Dior Homme fragrance in 2005. He can still do some more campaigns, we’re not complaining. Who would? Just look at that smolder.

2. He Made His Acting Debut in Sofia Coppola Film

After exploring his prospects in modeling, Jamie quickly shifted his focus on making a mark in Hollywood with his amazing acting. In 2006, Jamie appeared in Marie Antoinette, a film by Sofia Coppola. He played a character named Kristen Dust and garnered immense praise for the role. After that, he landed roles in dramas including The Fall, in which he played a serial killer and rapist. He also appeared in a fantasy TV Show on ABC, called Once Upon a Time. Currently, the actor is doing two crime dramas on the BBC.

3. He’s Married to Amelia Warner

Sorry ladies, Jamie is off the market! He’s married to an English composer and musician Amelia Warner. Their relationship is the epitome of unconditional love. The two stars have been together since 2010. According to Grazia, Jamie and Amelia met at a party in 2007 and tied the knot in 2013. They later welcomed their first child Dulcie into the world after which their second daughter, Elva was born in 2019. They are truly the picture-perfect family.

4. Jamie Dated Kiera Knightley

Jamie didn’t think that he’d ever be as famous as Kiera, his girlfriend for over three years. The gorgeous couple had met at a photoshoot for Asprey in 2003 and soon after that news about their romance hit the stands. In 2005, we found out that the couple had called it quits. A source close to Jamie told People’s magazine that, “Keira and Jamie have decided to call a halt to their relationship in its current phase but they remain completely committed to each other as friends and will continue to see each other in this capacity.”

5. He’s Irish

Imagine Jamie Dornan saying Christian Grey’s famous line ‘Laters, baby” in an Irish accent. The actor belongs to Northern Ireland and he spent most of his childhood in Belfast.

6. Dakota Johnson is Hollywood Royalty

Dakota has acting in her blood. Not only are both her parents actors (Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson), her grandmother (Tippi Hedern) is also a big name in the industry. In an interview, Dakota said that she’s not too keen to talk about her family. “I’ve come to understand the allure of that to other people, how it seems so interesting and different. But for me it’s just my family, it’s the way I grew up, and it’s my mom and my dad. It doesn’t really bother me because I get it, but sometimes it’s kind of a drag to talk about.”

7. Her Parents Didn’t Want Her to Become an Actor

Dakota told An Other magazine that her parents were not at all in the favor of her pursuing acting. “But I think they knew they didn’t really have an option,” she said. Dakota had auditioned for an acting program at Julliard but she was rejected. Her audition story is pretty amusing. In the same interview, she narrated, “They said we’ll ask 4 out of 150 of you to sing. I thought, God, that sucks for those guys. I went in so nervous, and my comedic monologue was one that Steve Martin wrote. They didn’t think it was funny. At all. And then, of course, they asked me to sing. So, I just sang the song in my head, which was ‘Nude’ by Radiohead because In Rainbows had just come out. It was so awkward. I was just wailing and they stopped me and said, Thanks for coming.”

8. She Made Her Debut in Crazy in Alabama

Dakota made her acting debut in a movie of her mother’s, called Crazy in Alabama. After that, she appeared as Miss Golden Globe in 2006, which also turned out to be a family thing as Melanie Griffith was also chosen as Miss Golden Globe about thirty years before that.

9. She Starred in The Social Network

Her role in David Fincher’s The Social Network garnered her the attention of Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson. In an interview with Vogue, he said that her performance made him want more. When she auditioned for the role of Anastasia Steele, she performed a monologue that ‘blow us out of the water,’ said Taylor-Johnson.

10. Dakota Loves Tattoos

The actress has a number of tattoos all over her body which she has to cover up for her roles in movies. While there was a time when she loved getting them, now she thinks that her tattoos are just annoying.
