2019 was a remarkable year for movies, and it is now time to celebrate the efforts of stars that made the year a glamorous one.  But let’s talk about something that made headlines in the entertainment news soon after the show. Yes, that’s right we are talking about the photographs of Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt.
#Braniston shippers almost had a heart attack out of joy at the awards night when their favourite actors were seen together for the first time after their divorce in 2005.

The couple dated for two years before they got married in 2000 but due to reasons that none of them disclosed, they separated in 2005, leaving all the shippers super upset.
However, this reunion has sparked rumours, and fans are interested to know about the relationship they both share.

During the Golden Globes Ceremony of 2020, Brad Pitt was asked about his ex-wife, Jennifer and he said that she’s a “good friend”.

But the internet and celebrity gossip tabloids went crazy when the two stars were photographed together behind the scenes at SAG awards with Brad Pitt holding Aniston’s hand while she proceeds to move away.

Now, we know that we are overthinking this small interaction way too much but can you blame the fans that were seriously heartbroken when such a high-profile couple broke up, shattering our dreams of finding true love?
At SAG Awards, both the actors were recognized for their work in 2019 and during Pitt’s humorous speech when he poked fun at himself for a guy “who does not get along with his wife” the camera zoomed in to record Aniston’s expressions while she softly laughed and applauded fellow winner’s sense of humour.

And if Brad Pitt thought that being away from the audience could prevent the audience from recording his reaction to Aniston’s win, he was mistaken.

E! reported that the actor “stopped everything” to listen to her as she mounted the stairs for the first time since her win with the cast of FRIENDS at the SAG Awards. When questioned about Brad’s reaction to her words, Jen expressed her disbelief and praised him along with other actors in the room whom she had “grown up with”.

As we said, the interaction sent the internet in a frenzy, and #Braniston began to trend because let’s face it, fans are waiting for the flames to reignite. And if you think that cute little interaction was all we got from the awards, then we have a little surprise for you.
According to the latest celebrity news, both the actors attended the same after-party but sadly, they weren’t photographed together. But does that mean they didn’t talk or meet? Certainly not.

Whoever has been in the Braniston scene since they were married know how rough of a time it was for both the actors in 2005 where every little move was photographed while they dealt with the stress of public scrutiny and celebrity gossip tabloids involved in their divorce.

A source disclosed to US Weekly that, “Brad and Jen have a wonderful connection that might seem flirtatious at times. They dig each other’s sense of humour and have infectious energy when they’re together, but they insist things are purely platonic and nothing more than that.”
Pitt and Aniston both know about the “hysteria” that surrounds their relationship as back in 2005, people began to use t-shirts saying “Team Aniston’ when the artists broke up after a supposed rumour of Brad cheating on her with his Mr & Mrs Smith co-star, Angelina Jolie.
However, it is always nice to see fellow artists respecting each other despite their history, and we certainly hope we get to see more of the two in 2020.
