January 2021| 11 Biggest Games and Movie Releases You Cannot Miss!

It’s been almost a year
since we’ve seen a movie make it into the theatres and do good business. With
not just a new year but a new decade starting, the anticipation has increased
as well. We all want to know when the movie business will resume to its normal
state.

This year, big-budgeted
movies like Tenet and Wonder Woman 1984 somehow made it to the theatres, but to
very limited theatres and even more limited seats. They ended up doing terrible
business. They’ve gone to streaming services so that makers can at least get
back some of the amount they invested.

When you come to think
of it, the year 2020 was going to be a big year for the movies. It had a
massive lineup planned for the moviegoers – but of course, you just can’t fight
nature.

Check out 87+ anticipated movies and books of 2021!

It was the year when
big companies like Warner Bros relied on streaming platforms; most movies like
Mulan went straight to these platforms. But is the situation going to continue
in the coming year? That remains questionable.

Here’s how to bid farewell to the most pathetic year!

The future of cinema is
hanging just like our dreams and aspirations.

Anyway, you must know
that some movies are going to be released in the coming year. In January, in
fact, you might see a couple of movies. We still don’t know if these are going
to be theatrical releases, but at least we’ll have new movies to watch and talk
about.

Let’s begin our
countdown while you enjoy 2020’s most shocking images!

The
Last Duel

It is directed by
Ridley Scott and stars movie icons Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. The movie also
has Adam Driver and Jodie Comer at the forefront. It is slated for a Jan 8,
2021 release.

The director, Ridley
Scott, is back after two years of All the Money in the World being shot. The
movie is apparently about the Edwardian tale of knights and maidens. Best
friends Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are all set to reunite and they’re joined by
the breakout star of Killing Eve, Jodie Comer.

Peter
Rabbit 2: The Runaway

The movie is directed
by Will Gluck and it has James Corden, Rose Byrne, Domehnall Gleeson, David
OyeLowo, and Elizabeth Debiki as the leading cast. It will release on the 15th
of January, 2021.

It’s a sequel and will
be loosely based on the work of Beatrix Potter. But listen, if James Corden is
involved in any PG-rated adventure, count us in!

355

The movie 355 is
directed by Simon Kinberg and it is also slated for release on the 15th
of January. The cast of the movie includes Jessica Chastain, Fan Bingbing,
Penélope Cruz, Lupita Nyong’o, Edgar Ramirez, Sebastian Stan, Diane Kruger, and
Emilio Insolera.

For those who remember
NBC’s famous show Smash, this will be a treat! It’s a spy flick movie written
by Theresa Rebeck. Jessica Chastain is also producing this female-driven
thriller, which is pretty exciting!

Rugrats

David Bowers is the
director of this film, and it is slated for a January release. The date is
still not confirmed, but rumors suggest that it will arrive on the 29th
of January. The cast of the film is still not revealed, and the fact that
everything is kept so hushed is making us even more excited and curious!

The new live-action is
adapted from the classic Nickelodeon cartoon. It is all set to be a blockbuster
as it will hit every button needed to make you feel nostalgic and overwhelmed
with emotions.

Apart from movies, many
games are also being released in January 2021. We’re all pretty pumped for the upcoming
games, which is why we’ve made a list for you!
