Okay, so this is the third celebrity couple to announce
the birth of their child in the last five days… It’s definitely raining kids
out there!

One of Hollywood’s most reserved couples has
reportedly announced the birth of their child, a baby boy. Joaquin Phoenix and
Rooney Mara recently welcomed their first son together, naming him River.

Russian Filmmaker Victor Kossakovsky, who directed
Gunda, a documentary Phoenix executive produced, broke the news.

The couple named their son “River”, as a tribute
to Phoenix’s late older brother, who tragically died in 1993 at age 23.

The actor also gave a moving speech about him
while accepting the Oscar for Best Actor earlier this year.

The couple has yet to confirm their son’s birth,
which is something unlikely for this low-key couple. They kept their entire
pregnancy a secret, until a well-known news organization reported that the
couple was expecting in May.

They were rumored to be engaged in May 2019, after
Mara was spotted with a big diamond ring on that ring finger.
