Kelly Clarkson has decided to end her marriage with her husband, Brandon Blackstock. She went to court to file for divorce, and according to the documents obtained by CNN, she quoted “irreconcilable differences” as the major reason for parting ways.

The couple was married in October 2013 and has two children together, River Rose and Remington Alexander.

Clarkson and Blackstock retreated to their house in Montana to pass the period of social dancing and there, she began to record her daily television program, The Voice.

Clarkson has asked the court to give joint legal and physical custody of the children to her and the decision would not be difficult as they both signed a prenuptial agreement.
