New Year Eve Shows| What’s New on Netflix This Week? ‘Vikings’, ‘The Masked Dancer’, ‘Death to 2020’ And More!

Thanks to the pandemic, we don’t really
have plans for New Year’s Eve. Going out to celebrate, with the threat of
getting the virus, doesn’t sound so fun. What is pretty exciting is the line-up
of New Year’s Eve shows coming to Netflix this week.

There’s no need to feel sad that we can’t
go out to party when we can spend the night cozied up in your home,
binge-watching some of the best shows on Netflix.

Here’s a number of shows you can put on
your to-binge-list for New Year’s Eve.

Vikings, Season 6 Part 2

After a mid-season break of over a year, the
Vikings series will be coming back to our screens this week. This will be the
final season of the epic historical drama that made its debut in 2013.

It has got us obsessed with Viking history
and mythology, and we can’t think of a better way to end this year than binge-watching
the final episodes of our favorite series on New Year’s Eve.

We’ve got some exciting news for you. Even
if Vikings is coming to an end, a spin-off series called Vikings: Valhalla is
being made exclusively on Netflix which you can look forward to.

The Masked Dancer

The spin-off of The Masked Singer, The
Masked Dancer, is going to premiere on Netflix this week. It’s a fun and
glamourous show that features celebrities in disguise, busting some moves.

Hosted by Craig Robinson, the show will
have a dancing Tulip, a sloth, an ice cube, and a zebra. The clues to who they
are would be hidden within their choreography and the panel of judges will have
to guess the celebrity under the mask. The judges include Paula Abdul, Brian
Austin Green, Ashley Tisdale, and Ken Jeong. They will be hard to stump, but
that’s the challenge for our celebrity contestants.

Death to 2020

We have a feeling that Death to 2020 is
going to be our favorite mockumentary of all time. Made by the creators of the
viral hit Black Mirror, this special feature depicts a number of fictional
characters discussing the events of 2020, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the
U.S presidential elections, Australian bushfires, the royal family, and more.
This mixture of information and satire will be the perfect way to end this
terrible year on a lighter note. Make sure you put Death to 2020 on your binge
list.

Best Leftovers Ever

Watch skillful chefs battle it out for the
grand prize of $10,000 in Netflix’s very own cooking competition. But this isn’t
your everyday cooking show; the chefs have to overcome one obstacle that they
might never have faced before – use leftovers to create entirely new dishes.

That’s right! It sounds super interesting,
as well. Best Leftovers Ever will be premiered on Netflix on December 30th,
just in time for you to binge-watch it on New Year’s Eve. Who knows you might
even end up testing your own cooking skills in the new year, and make exciting
new dishes from the leftovers from the New Year’s Eve party.

Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy
– Earthrise

The new season of the Transformers: War for
Cybertron is to be released on Netflix on December 30th, so fasten
your seat-belt and get ready to drive right in because this exciting series
will make your day. It’s full of thrilling action and surprising twists and
turns as the

Transformers will leave Cybertron and land
on Earth in search of the Allspark. If you’re a fan of Transformers, then we
believe that this Netflix premiere will be one of the best things you can watch
at your small at-home New Year’s Eve party.

Best of Stand-Up 2020

2020 was terrible, but thankfully the jokes
weren’t. Netflix made the year bearable for us with its stand-up comedy
special. As the year is coming to an end, the streaming website has done us all
an amazing favor and compiled the best bits of comedy for us to laugh along
with.

Best of Stand-Up 2020 will be released on
December 31st, just in time for you to watch it during your New Year’s
Eve celebrations. We can’t think of any other great way to end the year besides
laughing our heads off with Jerry Seinfeld, Leslie Jones, Hannah Gadsby, Kevin
Hart, and more.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 4

Everybody’s favorite witch, Sabrina is
coming back to our screen with her gang on December 31
st. The shows
created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa took to Twitter in early December and said
that “We truly save the best…and scariest…for last.” Wow, now that
has us on the edge of our seats.

This will be the last season of the Netflix
series, showing the witches and mortals facing off against the Eldritch
Terrors’ common threat. If you haven’t watched the Chilling Adventures of
Sabrina yet, we suggest you start with it right now! You won’t regret it, we
promise.

Headspace Guide to Meditation

Coming on January 1st, this new
series will be our best friend for the entire 2021. We all need some peace and
relaxing and this series will teach us the right way to do that. Headspace
Guide to Meditation is an animated show which is narrated by Andy Puddicombe,
the co-founder of Headspace. Andy will teach us all about the tools to build a
meditation practice and help us explore the science behind the techniques. The trailer
looks super promising and we just know that it’ll be binge-worthy.

Hope you found this list of New Year Eve
shows to watch on Netflix as exciting as we did. Let us know which show you’ll
