Pornhub reveals the “Yee-haw” culture to shine as a top trend this Halloween.  

It is weird how people mix their wild fantasies and their adored characters. The amalgamation of these two elements from the different worlds may sound contradictory to some people, but they are exhilarating for many. Whether it is the cowboy fantasy or an obsession with a movie character, people have a hard time keeping their sexual infatuations out of the way.

With Halloween right across the corner, people have been gearing up their spookiness in the most eccentric fashion as always. On 30th October 2019, Pornhub released its Halloween insights on Wednesday, and needless to say; we are not surprised.

As the statistics reveal, Harley Quinn takes the lead as the top character in Pornhub searches followed by Joker. Surprisingly, “Succubus”- female demons who seduce men in their sleep came fifth this year, since the third and fourth positions were taken by teacher and maid respectively. (Seriously, there’s no end to sexual desire trends)

Furthermore, “sexy classic costumes” like cat, bunny, and nurse also made it into the top ten searches.

Speaking of these trends, Pornhub female users searched 76% times more for cowboys as compared to men. About 68% of women searched for videos related to Michael Myers. (Errr eerie)

53% of women had fantasies related to Harry Potter, wonder how that sits with Halloween theme.

On the flip side, there were 216% men, in contrast to women, who searched for “Jean Grey/ Dark Phoenix.”

About 139% of searches were related to Elvira- the Mistress of the Dark.

Interestingly, Pornhub traffic did experience a drop due to the “Trick or Treat” ritual. The website traffic took a hit 22% below average at 7 p.m.

Before your jaw drop next to your feet, know that the website traffic resumed back shortly and about 6% above-average surge was recorded by 1 a.m.
