Zac Efron
played the notorious serial killer, Ted Bundy in the movie ‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly
Evil and Vile.’
The movie
title was inspired by the judge’s pronouncement when sentencing the real
Bundy in 1979 for the murders of several young women in the 1970s. But you know
what, Zac Efron’s movie hardly scratches the surface of the crimes that were
made by the real Bundy!
The movie
portrayed that he was handsome and good looking, and that’s why all his victims
were drawn to him. They showed that the people who loved Bundy couldn’t believe
that he would be capable of doing such horrifying things. Not Ted! Absolutely
wrong!
And that’s
it… that’s what the movie was all about! Ted Bundy was more than just a
handsome monster who preyed on young women; he was intelligent and a
psychopath!

We all hate
our exes, but…
‘Ted Bundy was a nice man’
This is how
his friends and family described him when he was convicted of various murders.
They told the police and investigation team that Bundy was the nicest person
they had ever met!
The true face
of this evil person remained hidden from the public eye for a long time.
Ted Bundy also saved many lives
Yes, you have
read that right!
One of the
most notorious serial killers of all time had also saved some lives…
During his
college time, he worked for a suicide prevention hotline and, hence, saved the lives of those who had suicidal thoughts. He even rescued a 3-year old child in
1970 who fell in Seattle’s Green Lake. He promptly jumped into the lake to save
the poor boy, according to the witnesses.
Strange!
He was a necrophiliac!

Usually, most
murderers go with an order/sequence like Assault > rape > Murder. But
with Bundy, this order is even more disturbing. Bundy started with the assault,
then murdered his victims, and then raped their corpses.
He actually
confessed in an interview with authors Stephen Michaud and Hugh Aynesworth “he
would often revisit the… sites to have sex with their corpses until they were
too decomposed or had been eaten by animals.”
He also photographed his victims and used to visit
the crime scenes repeatedly.
Bundy was a
psychopath; he used to visit the crime places to take pictures of his victims.
He also kept the heads of some of the victims he decapitated as his souvenirs.
He lawyered his own case

Bundy
represented himself in the court during his 1979 murder trial, and he didn’t
even have a law degree. The New York Times reported that he had a defense
lawyer later at some point.
He proposed to his girlfriend when she was standing
in the witness box.

The whole
conviction process was like a joke to Bundy, it seems.
When he was representing himself in the court, Bundy proposed to his girlfriend,
Carol Ann Boone for marriage. And surprisingly, she agreed! They married in
jail and had a daughter together in 1981.
