Who would’ve thought that Trump’s comments could inspire a TV show?
Recently pictures of Steve Carell’s new show Space Force have been making rounds on the internet that have generated much excitement in our boring quarantined life at home.
This is the second time Carell and Greg Daniels would be collaborating on a show (they previously worked on The Office), so naturally, we have really high expectations from this show. Steve Carell will be joined by Lisa Kudrow, John Malkovich, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz, Jimmy O. Yang, and others.
Apparently, he’s playing the role of Mark R. Naird, an air force pilot who ends up in command of a new military branch.
On Wednesday, Netflix released some of these photos and revealed that the show would premiere in May.
Back in 2018, Donald Trump commented on the establishment of an independent Space Force, so technically, he is the inspiration behind the show. I know how weird that sounds!
Anyway, Netflix has described this show as “”a new kind of workplace comedy.”
Can’t wait for May 29th!
