Started as a joke on Twitter, Elon Musk actually launched its own brand of shorts with ‘S3XY’ printed on the back.

The shorts are available on the company’s website, and it went crazily popular that their website crashed soon after its launch!

The description for the product on the Tesla website reads: “Celebrate summer with Tesla Short Shorts. Run like the wind or entertain like Liberace with our red Satin and gold trim design. Relax poolside or lounge indoors year-around with our limited-edition Tesla Short Shorts, featuring our signature Tesla logo in front with “S3XY” across the back. Enjoy exceptional comfort from the closing bell.”

No, he is not meant to make his way into the fashion industry, as he was just poking fun at the Tesla “Shorters”, people who were anticipating and betting on a decline in price so they can borrow and sell Tesla stock and make a profit out of it.

Musk took to Twitter to roast Tesla Shorters and pull their legs for all the money they are losing as the Tesla’s stock went to the record breaking high of $1,200 (£960) per share.

Elon Musk is not coming slow, and he is basically waging war against those Shorters and the SEC, which he deems that are conspiring against Tesla for years.

Earlier, he made a joke out of them saying “Tesla will make fabulous short shorts in radiant red satin with gold trim,” apparently, he wasn’t joking back then as the joke just got real!

Not only the shorts, but the price is also a joke too… the shorts cost about $69.420, with “420” is a mocking reference to both weed and Musk’s popular tweet about making Tesla private at $420 per share. The tweet later caused him a lot of trouble with the SEC.

Anyways, people went crazy over the shorts as they have sold out of sizes XS, S, M and L with only XL currently available to purchase.

And it seems that they took over the internet by storm as the website crashed soon after 49-year-old Musk tweeted to announce the ‘limited edition’ shorts are being available on the website, followed by another tweet “Dang, we broke the website.”

However, if you missed the shorts then meanwhile you can get yourself Good Luck Men’s Elon Musk Socks right from the Amazon and before they get out of stock too!
