Rumours of the reunion and specials have been prevailing since October in the entertainment news when Rachel Green, sorry, Jennifer Aniston posted a picture of her sitcom and real-life friends with the caption “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too”.

The last episode of FRIENDS, The Last One, was watched by 52.5 million views across the world and held the record for being the most-watched TV show finale of the 2000s.

Kevin Reilly, the chief content officer for the HBO Max channel, said, “Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together – we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends Library.”
The cast of the show still earns a lot of money because the show is aired on multiple channels around the world even today and is expected to receive $2.5 M for revising the special roles for the audiences.
