Well, you must have already figured out where we are going with this so fellas, gear up! If it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month or even your year since 2004, then your favourite FRIENDS are returning to the screen to be there for you!
Yeah, we know that we are overdoing the references but isn’t that just kick-you-in-the-crotch spit-on-your neck fantastic?

Instagram went wild when all six cast members posted the same picture on their respective accounts saying, “It’s happening”. Rumours of the reunion and specials have been prevailing since October in the entertainment news when Rachel Green, sorry, Jennifer Aniston posted a picture of her sitcom and real-life friends with the caption “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too”.
And you know the audience! Could the reaction BE anymore wild?

After all, we are going to see Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Mathew Perry and David Schwimmer back in action after 15 years. The last episode of FRIENDS, The Last One, was watched by 52.5 million views across the world and held the record for being the most-watched TV show finale of the 2000s.

And well, if you watched it live, then Joey here has to say something:

The younger fan-base is not far behind and loves the show just as much as it was the second most-watched show on Netflix US until it was removed in December 2019.

Kevin Reilly, the chief content officer for the HBO Max channel, said, “Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together – we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends Library.”
The cast of the show still earns a lot of money because the show is aired on multiple channels around the world even today and is expected to receive $2.5 M for revising the special roles for the audiences.

Well, we cannot wait for them to spread the magic once again because “that, my friend is what they call, closure.”
