They were the power couple of the music industry.

But Cardi B has finally decided to split her on-and-off marriage and filed for divorce from Offset – fellow hip hop star. Rumors have it that Cardi B caught her husband cheating yet again.

The New York rapper labelled their more than two years marriage as “irretrievably broken.”

The couple had secretly tied the knot in 2017, and have a beautiful two-year-old daughter named Kulture.

Offset, the Atlanta rap group Migos’s member had been blamed once of having an extra-marital affair earlier in their marriage.

Cardi B has had enough of her husband’s repeated attempts of infidelity and she has finally chosen to put an end to their marriage by filing divorce papers in family court.

Her song “WAP”, collaborating Megan Thee Stallion, took the no.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in August. Its music video has closely 200 million Youtube views, and the numbers are growing!

The couple has two music numbers together including “Clout” and “Drip”.

The rapper has not yet addressed the divorce on her Instagram account.

In 2018, Cardi B was charged on multiple cases, including two counts of reckless endangerment and one case of assault, after she was reportedly engaged in an incident with bartenders at a strip club in Queens. The bartenders accused Cardi of ordering an attack on them, after finding her husband’s affair with one of the women. Cardi pleaded not guilty.

Offset apologized earlier on Instagram in 2018 for acting as a “selfish, messed-up husband”; he also asked for forgiveness and apologized on-stage before the crowd at her Rolling Loud concert, in which he presented a sign that read: “Take me back Cardi.” The sign was made of roses!

This display of apparent remorse and affection has been taken poorly by Cardi B fans, while some are stating their relationship as “Toxic.”

She forgave him and also insisted people to avoid bashing him for trying. In a talk with Cosmopolitan, she said that what her husband did was wrong, but she is not an angel either.

However, their relationship seems to have come to an official end because the rapper doesn’t get second chances!
