February might be the shortest month of the year, but when it comes to Netflix shows and films, it’ll sure be packing a punch. Our favorite streaming platform never fails to excite us, one after another, it announces shows with trailers that leave us speechless.

So, what’s popular on Netflix?

All My Friends are Dead





A new Polish movie called All My Friends are Dead has been released on Netflix on February 3rd. It’s a dark comedy that depicts the story of a group of friends who have gathered to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

While it’s all fun and games in the start, the party takes an intense turn as they’re all forced to confront heartache and open up about their secrets.

The movie features an amazing cast, including Michal Meyer, Adam Woronowicz, Julia Wieniawa-Narkiewicz, Adam Turczyk, Nikodem Rozbicki, Monika Krzywkowska, Szymon Roszak, Michal Sikorski, Adam Bobik, Tomasz Karolak, Mateusz Wieclawek, Yassine Fadel, Bartlomiej Firlet, Wojciech Lozowski, and Aleksandra Pisula.

Black Beach



Directed by Estaban Crespo, Black Beach is a Spanish action thriller that’s trending on Netflix in February 2021. The film follows a businessman Carlos on his journey as he agrees to mediate a kidnapping that is done by one of his friends.

The movie is full of exciting action sequences, as well as mesmerizing scenery. From Ghana to Brussels, Toledo to Madrid, it’s been shot at many different locations in the world. It’s coming to Netflix on February 3rd so make sure you put it on your movie marathon list for the weekend.

Little Big Women



Directed by Joseph Chen-Chieh Hsu, Little Big Women is a remarkable film that powerfully portrays the experiences of many Taiwanese families. It focuses on Lin Shoying, a restaurant owner, and her three daughters, and shows them struggling through personal challenges and coping with the death of their father.

Little Big Women is both funny and moving. Some people might also describe it as a tearjerker. Coming to Netflix on February 5th, it’s a movie you must watch!

Space Sweepers



Space Sweepers is an upcoming South Korean space opera film that’ll be coming to your screen on February 5th. Directed by Jo Sung-hee, and starring Song Joong-ki, Tim Tae-ri, Jin Seon-Ky and Yoo Hae-jin, Space Sweepers is considered the first space blockbuster in the history of Korean cinema and television.

Set in 2092, the film tells the story of a crew that’s fighting the evil forces trying to destroy Earth.

iCarly



Were you an iCarly fan growing up? If yes, then you’ll be excited to hear that Season 1 and Season 2 of the Nickelodeon series is coming to Netflix on February 8th. The American teen sitcom— starring Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress, and Jerry Trainor— will bring back many childhood memories.

The show follows Carly Shay and her friends Sam Puckett and Freddie Benson as they start their own webcam show. Their show quickly becomes an internet phenomenon and the teenagers are faced with the challenge of living their normal lives while navigating their newly-found fame. Watching the show in 2021 would be an entirely different experience.

Red Dot



Coming to Netflix on February 11th, Red Dot is all Twitter can talk about at the moment. It’s a horror movie directed by Swedish filmmaker Alain Darborg. The film shows a couple played by Anastasios Soulis and Nanna Blondell, on a snowy camping trill in the hills of Sweden.

As soon as the couple arrives, something goes extremely wrong. A red dot, similar to that of a laser aim from a rifle lands on the couple. Shots are fired, which makes the two run into the wilderness to save their lives. The rest of the film revolves around them trying to solve the mystery around the dot while surviving the extreme weather and circumstances.

To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean



Coming to Netflix on February 12 is a movie that we’re super excited about and that is, To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean. It’s the third and final instalment in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film series. Starring Lana Candor, Noah Centineo, Jordan Fisher, Anna Cathcart, Janel Parrish, Ross Butler, Madeleine Arthur, Emilija Baranac, Holland Taylor, Sarayu Blue, John Corbett and Kelcey Mawema.

According to the synopsis on Netflix, “As Lara Jean Covey prepares for the end of high school and the start of adulthood, a pair of life-changing trips leads her to reimagine what life with her family, friends, and Peter will look like after graduation.”

We can’t wait for the movie to come out, it’ll make Valentine’s Day so much better for us.

I Care a Lot



An American Black comedy thriller starring Rosamund Pike, Peter Dinklage, Eiza Gonzalez, Chris Messina, and Dianne Wiest is coming to Netflix this month. The movie was premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and is considered one of the finest movies to come out in 2020.

It shows a woman who makes a living by lying and cheating. She deceives judges into making her the legal guardian of elderly folks. Things go sideways for her when her latest victim turns out to have strong ties to a very powerful gangster.

I Care a Lot has a 93% approval rate on Rotten Tomatoes and has garnered positive responses from film critics all over the world.

Cheers and all its 11 seasons are trending all over social media, but for a completely different reason: the show has been streaming on the website for years, but now it’s being taken down from Netflix and the viewers do not have it. We’re super sad to see the show get off from Netflix as its contract comes to an end with CBS.

You might no longer be able to watch Cheers, but there are many other Netflix shows and films that are trending in February 2021 that you can stream. There is simply too much to watch and only 28 days to do it. You need to start crossing out the titles on your to-watch movie list for February right away because March will bring its own exciting shows and movies to your screen!
