Charli XCX is grieving the
death of the most “important person is her life.”

Sophie
Xeon was a Scottish songwriter, musician, music producer and singer who died at
the age of 34 following a tragic car accident on Saturday. After hearing the
devastating news, the pop singer took to social media to express her grief,
describing the deceased as the person “who completely changed her life.”

“It’s
really hard for me to sum up the special connection I felt with such as amazing
person who completely changed my life,” the singer wrote in a heartfelt twitter
post. “There are so many memories, so many small details, so many different
views and incredible feelings and stories.”

“It’s
impossible to summarize the journey I went on with Sophie. Even the most
insignificant things felt enormous,” the 28-year-old singer added. “I can’t
explain how I feel and I can’t encapsulate what a unique person she was in one
small social media post.”

What is Sophie’s relationship with
Charli?

Charli
shared a very strong bond with her friend Sophie. The duo even worked together
on a music project. Of course, the sudden news of her friend’s death left her
devastated.

In
one interview, Charli talked about her close relationship with the late singer,
she said, “We just immediately spoke the same language – we didn’t even have to
talk, they immediately understood the kinds of sounds I was trying to achieve.
So it was very easy for me to leave everything behind at that moment, because
I’d found what I’d been searching for, for so long.”

Inspired
by their bond, fans flocked to internet to extend their support to a grieving
singer with the hashtag #HereForCharli. But this viral trend left many
confused, including the popular TikTok Star Charli D’Amelio.

She
thought that the hashtag might be trending for her so she decided to respond it
with a sweet statement only to get embarrassed later. She wrote, “I am looking
the #hereforCharli hashtag and oh my goodness you are all so sweet to me you
have no idea how much your kind words warm my heart I am so lucky to have you
all by my side!! I love you bebs.” Ooops… Awkward!

She
