Children all over the world are adapting to the new world where parents work from home while they take classes online. It’s like a story of a dystopian novel where people have face masks as part of their uniform and they would die if they step outside their homes.

Anyway, if you’re living in the UK, some good news awaits you.

Sir David Attenborough has decided to teach children lessons of Geography. Hence, kids can now learn about the oceans and the map of the world from the one and only. The veteran broadcaster is one of the many celebrities who have decided to turn to teaching during this pandemic.

From today, BBC will be featuring academic lessons from over 200 teachers from around the globe. It will be a 14-week curriculum for children in the UK. Want to know your teachers? Well, you’re in for a surprise!

Sergio Aguero, the famous footballer from Manchester United will be teaching how to count in Spanish. Liam Payne will be giving singing lessons, and Professor Brian Cox will be delivering lectures on gravity and force.

The lessons will be broadcasted every week at 9 a.m. on BBC iPlayer and BBC Red Button.

“We’re proud that the BBC can bring together so many people to offer such a wide-ranging package of support to help children and parents right across the UK at such a challenging time. We said the BBC would be there for people through this crisis, and we meant it. It’s vital that every child is able to continue learning — and the lessons we’re putting on will make sure they have fun at the same time.” – said Alice Webb, Director of of BBC Children and Education.
