Hotel Cecil Elisa Lam Story!

What
are the elements that are found in a well-made crime series? Of course, you
need to have a missing victim, an urban setting, a bunch of suspects, a list of
unrelated clues, and a series of coincidences. You can’t help but fall under
the trap of governmental plots or supernatural phenomena.   Well, you can find all of these ingredients
in Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel.

The
four-episode series is all set to premier on the 10^th of February,
2021. It is all set to deliver a stinging reality-check to all the conspiracy
theorists out there and their false theories about Elisa Lam and Elisa Lam body.

The
series is directed by Joe Berlinger – a specialist of this genre. He previously
worked on Paradise Lost trilogy and Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy
Tapes.

Crime
Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel is about death of Elisa Lam, a 21-year-old
Vancouver student who suddenly disappeared in 2013 on the 1^st of
February. She disappeared when she was visiting L.A., which was part of a West
Coast vacation.

She
was staying at Cecil Hotel – a hotel with a huge entrance and a lobby that
misrepresented its shady work. It was apparently a safe haven for drug dealers,
pimps, and killers. Cecil has had a long known history of crime, as it’s known
for being the home of Black Dahlia, Elizabeth Short, and Richard Ramirez (the
Night Stalker). Apparently, Richard Ramirez walked the halls of this very
residence naked and in blood. The place got its nickname “Hotel Death” soon
after.

It
is known that Cecil’s scandalous history was the inspiration behind one of the
American Horror Story seasons. Amy Price, the manager of the hotel, describes
the hotel by dividing it into two halves. Hence, in the interviews, she created
a second lobby and entrance and included three floors and eventually named this
section as “Stay on Main” – for budget-conscious travelers.

Lam
visited the separate hostel in the early days of 2013, after which she went
MIA. Soon, her face was on every flyer in the town, but none of it helped. The
detectives who worked on the case narrated the stuff that was available on her
Tumblr blog – it seemed like she treated it as her dairy.

The
series deals with strange and confusing scenarios, as it triggered a new LAPD
investigation that led them to solid clues needed to form the puzzle.

However,
it wasn’t until the cops discovered the security camera footage of Lam where
she could be seen inside an elevator. This video went viral and became the
epicenter of a lot of scrutiny and criticism.

The
detectives who helped Luka Magnotta in Don’t Fuck with Cats also breakdown what
the confounding video showed.

In
the video, Lam can be seen entering the elevator, pressing multiple buttons,
and then hiding in the corner. She was constantly poking out her face to look
whether or not there was anyone else. She looked erratic and scared.

Of
course, anybody who watches the four minute clip can understand that her
behavior was odd. The fact that the door of the elevator stays open for so long
seems a bit mysterious. And that’s not it – the door opens on the same floor
for Lam, even though Lam had pressed so many buttons on the control panel. By
now, the lift should’ve gone to another floor.

Obviously,
no one can explain the content of the video to this day, and that is exactly
why it holds so much controversy around it. The Crime Scene series will be the answer
to those speculations and will tell us finally what the baffling truth of the
tale is.
