6 Jan 2021 – the day when a bunch of pro-Trump rioters
swarmed into the U.S Capitol building in Washington, looted and vandalized legislation
offices, and put a temporary halt to the process of counting Electoral College
votes of President-elect Joe Biden like Captain America.
What seems like a scene from Hollywood movie or a chaotic
situation from a third world country has actually happened in reality in the
world’s superpower country: The United States of America!
Check out the 10 terrifying videos of Capitol attack here!
On Wednesday, thousands of people were protesting at the
National Mall against the results of the election. After an hour, those
terrorists disguised as protestors broke into the U.S Capitol building,
encouraged by the sitting President Donald Trump himself, and vandalized the
entire building, forcing Vice President Mike Pence and other members to
evacuate or take cover for their safety.
And quite frankly, you can’t even do this sh*t in GTA Vice
city or any other game!
Btw, PogChamp Emote has been removed by Twitch following the riot!
According to the police reports, at least four people died
during the Capitol attack, including a woman (see her final words and moments here), Ashli Babbitt who was shot dead
by police inside the building and three others suffered medical emergencies.
When the situation got out of control, the mayor decided to enforce an immediate
curfew and the deployment of the National Guard.
And like everyone else, this incident has prompted a response
from many A-list celebrities but not these jerk celebrities, including Chris Evans tweet, Demi Lovato, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez and
even the world leaders like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and New
Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern also reacted to the undemocratic breach
of the Capitol building on Wednesday.
“This is domestic terrorism,” wrote Meghan McCain, The View host. “Stop calling it
protesting.” she tweeted on Thursday writing, “Americans are in a
constitutional crisis unlike anything seen in our lifetime” and she called for
resignation from Donald Trump.
“I have never said this before, unlike so many ‘former GOP’
media people. I’m a red-blooded conservative. Now is it,” she added.
We are in a constitutional crisis unlike anything seen in our lifetime. Our democracy is at a breaking point and Trump must be removed from office immediately.

Musician Ariel Pink, a supporter for Donald Trump, took to Twitter
to share with fans that he was in the rally but he didn’t break into the
building. “ I was in dc to peacefully show my support for the president,” he
tweeted. “I attended the rally on the white house lawn and went back to the hotel
and took a nap. Case closed.”
Matt James, a lead participant on the reality show of ABC
“The Bachelor”, tweeted to highlight the hypocrisy in our country, stating that
we’re living in two different Americas.
He wrote, “As a Black man who saw how peaceful protestors
were handled this summer, I know a group of black or brown rioters would not
have been dealt with the same way. We need to address the hypocrisy and
injustice in our country to set a better example for the next generation.”

isn’t an option to overrule the will of the people.

Canadians are deeply disturbed and saddened by the attack on democracy in the United States, our closest ally and neighbour. Violence will never succeed in overruling the will of the people. Democracy in the US must be upheld – and it will be.
