We’re aware of how face masks have gone out of stock and are now hardly available in stores. But don’t fret because U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams is here.

In the following video, he demonstrates how you can make your own face mask in exactly 45 seconds. All you need is a T-shirt, rubber bands, and a towel or bandana
.

CDC has also stressed on how cloth face masks should be worn in public while maintaining a six feet distance from others. This news was announced after scientists and doctors realized that one in four people don’t show Coronavirus symptoms. Hence, this will be better for people who aren’t aware that they’re Coronavirus carriers.

Do you know that Coronavirus can be transmitted even by talking?

“It’s not a decision to try to protect me from getting Coronavirus. It’s to help modify spreading. And there is scientific data to show that when you aerosolized virus through a cloth barrier, you have a reduction in the amount of virus that gets through the other side.” – said CDC director Robert Redfield while speaking to Stat News.

He further stressed that cloth masks should be used by the general public and surgical masks should be kept for medical workers.
