Nike, a sportswear
brand that is not afraid of making bold statements and raising its voice
against societal injustice, has done it again!

In an exclusive and
strikingly humane ad, Nike has spoken about the moral complacency we’re all
victims of. It has used the platform to urge people to stand up against the
inequality that exists in America. It has asked Americans to stop allowing the growing
intolerance.

After the brutal murder
of George Floyd by a police officer, people have come to the streets to protest
against racism and police brutality. These protests have gone international as
racism is something that exists worldwide. The current events have led to the
discussion on slavery and the modern notions that ideate from it. Experts of
black studies argue that slavery isn’t abolished, but it is reformed – a
powerful statement to make in the 21^st century since we all believe
that we’ve evolved.

The death of George
Floyd had truly hit us hard because it resonates with the black community. The
tragedy is their daily life, and they’re sick of it. Hence, people have
realized the growing significance of the Black Lives Matter movement. It’s
about time every person not only supports the black community and this movement
but also becomes anti-racist.

In this beautiful ad,
Nike has asked us to do the same. The video has a soft piano tune playing in
the pitch-black background and white-colored text on display containing
strong messages. The video also begins with a spin on Nike’s slogan “Just Do It.”

The campaign is run
with the hashtag #UntilWeAllWin
through which Nike urges people to fight and stand tall against racism, or be
strong allies in this movement and support fellow brothers and sisters for the
sake of humanity and basic decency.
