After news of her contracting the virus broke out, Trump suggested that the virus had been transmitted to Hicks from law enforcement or military personnel (without any evidence, though).

The president’s doctor, Navy Commander Dr. Sean Conley, said in a statement, “The president and first lady are both well at this time, and they plan to remain at home within the White House during their convalescence.”

According to health experts, it’s very unlikely to receive a positive PCR test only one day after the exposure, In fact, he has been carrying the virus for a long time and also transmitted to those who he interacted with over the week.
