Hollywood’s power couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has always been in the spotlight. We’ve all admired their compatibility, swooned over their love, and envied their relationship. All of that might be coming to an end in a short while. Unfortunately, according to reports, the high-profile marriage has been on the rocks for quite some time now. After six years of marriage, it seems like divorce is imminent for the couple.

Rumors have been circulating for over a month that the two stars have been living separate lives and people are speculating the reasons behind the possible divorce.

Sources close to the couple revealed to ‘Page Six’ that Kim and Kanye are divorcing because Kim has grown up a lot. “She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer; she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile, Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy shit, and she’s just had enough of it.”

Moreover, the same sources also stated that Kim has been clapping back at rumors that her husband wasn’t present at her 40th birthday, other people present at the party revealed that he came late and left early. Kim also got Kanye to go to his Wyoming ranch to spend the holidays together.

The fact that Kanye West ran as a candidate in the elections and had presidential aspirations shows that the two stars’ future goals don’t align any longer. A source close to the rapper reportedly explained that Kanye has been growing more and more uncomfortable with Kim and her family’s reality star lifestyle. “He is completely over the entire family and wants nothing to do with them,” said the source. This is one of the reasons why the couple is headed towards divorce.

The couple’s relationship’s final straw was a ‘big fight’ that they had in December. According to an insider who talked to US Weekly, “They had a big fight in early December. Kanye blew up at Kim and she was really upset. Things between them don’t seem to have healed since that.”

Neither Kanye West nor Kim Kardashian has commented on these rumors of divorce, that has surfaced just a few months before their sixth wedding anniversary.

Kanye West set high standards for us to match with his amazing proposal to Kim. In 2013, the rapper reserved an entire baseball stadium in San Francisco; he set up a sign at the stadium that read, “PLEASE MARRY MEEE!!!”

After that dream proposal, the couple tied the knot in 2014. The wedding took place at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. Kim donned on a dress worth $500,000 by Givenchy. And the wedding ring was just perfect!

Complications with Pregnancy

While Kim was pregnant with North and Saint, she faced major health problems. Talking to Allure, the celebrity commented on the possibility of carrying their third child, “I would like to, but I’ve had lots and lots of complications. I had preeclampsia. And then I also had something called placenta accrete. We’ve explored surrogacy. We’re thinking about it,” she said. The couple’s third and fourth child, Chicago and Psalm came into the world via surrogate.

Feud with Taylor Swift

We saw the couple stand up in each other’s defense when they had a feud with the ‘Lover’ singer, Taylor Swift. Things between the couple and Taylor Swift went wrong when the rapper made an offensive remark about her in his song ‘Famous’. After Taylor called out the rapper against the derogatory remark, Kim came to her husband’s defense and revealed footage of the singer agreeing to let Kanye use her name in the lyrics.

Kim’s Gunpoint Robbery

In 2016, when Kim was in France for the Paris Fashion Week, she was robbed at gunpoint in her own hotel room. Men disguised as police officers tied her up and put her in the bathroom before fleeing the scene. Kanye was doing a show in New York when he got this news. He stopped the show immediately and flew to France to meet his wife. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Family emergency, I have to stop the show,” he had said.

Kanye’s Hospitalization and Kanye West’s Marriage

Because of extreme exhaustion, Kanye was hospitalized at UCLA Medical Center in 2016. The reason behind his break down was Kim’s Paris robbery and his mother’s death anniversary. A source close to the rapper told US magazine that he had been badly shaken up after the robbery. It affected him as much as it did Kim. “The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin. He wasn’t sleeping, and he was having nightmares about it,” said the source.

There’s just too much history between the couple for them to call it quits. We’ve seen them support each other through thick and thin no matter West’s public battle with anyone and hope that they are able to work out their difference and opinion. We want everything to become as it was before, anything that would stop the couple’s divorce would be a sigh of relief.
