The coronavirus continues to spread from the city of origin, Wuhan and has now caused panic in the United States. As numerous cases are being reported in a nursing home in Kirkland, Washington, the health authorities are concerned that the virus entered the state long ago.

The city of Kirkland has become the center of illness as six patients have been taken and put in quarantine. The nursing facility announced on Sunday that the disease has proved to be fatal for one male victim, making it the second death in the United States. Hence, nervousness and fear have risen near the Seattle suburb.

His condition was critical, and he passed away at the EvergreenHealth Hospital in Kirkland while three other patients are also fighting for life.

The fire-fighters and college students who spent the day at the nursing home are also put in quarantine while the hospital has taken measures to keep other visitors away.

Emergency has been placed in schools, medical centers and workplaces to deal with the risk of the virus spreading immediately. The cure for the epidemic is yet to be discovered, and therefore, the panic of the cities is quite justified.

Other states have also reported individual cases, and the total number in the United States has increased to 87, according to the reports from New York, Florida and Rhode Island.
