A lot of protests have suffered due to the social distancing rule implemented to control the spread of coronavirus. While Indian citizens called off their anti-CAA bill demonstration, Greta Thunberg postponed all the marches organized for climate change protests. However, the brutalities in the world have not stopped and this caused 2000 people in Tel Aviv, Israel to come out in Rabin Square to protest against the government.

The protestors maintained all the guidelines as they stood six feet apart to challenge the decisions taken by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israel was one of the first countries that tried to introduce the law of tracking phones in order to control the pandemic. However, concerns regarding the breach of privacy were raised by many citizens as the government has a track record of manipulating situations and passing laws by employing underhanded means.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that the protest was called “Black Flag” and all the participants strongly condemned the decision taken by the government. Police marked the places in Rabin Square so people knew where to stand during the protest and masks were distributed by the organizers.
