We’re still shocked by
the sad demise of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The internet
lovingly called her the “notorious R.G.B” and she was
known for many things, including her unique exercise routine.
Despite being an
octogenarian, she maintained her routine with some help from her personal trainer Bryant Johnson,
her personal trainer. The two started working together in 1999 when she was
first diagnosed with cancer. Her radiation and exercise routine went hand in
hand until last summer.
She touched many lives
and inspired generations with her brilliant mind and persona. During her
memorial service, her trainer honored her by doing 3 push-ups in front of
the casket at the Capitol.
Of course, this gesture
caught everyone’s eye and people were pleased.
Now we do admit that
push-ups are an odd way to honor someone, but who can deny that the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
herself was unconventional by all means – a trailblazer for a reason!
