The season of
romance is here to knock you off your feet and leave butterflies fluttering in
your stomach. Hence, instead of hopping from one person to another, it’s time
you make time for “the one” – and only leave the hopping for your shopping
because let’s face it, Valentine’s Day shopping is really tough!

Anyway, on
Valentine’s Day, if you’re single, you’ve got to propose your crush! This is
not the time to keep your feelings locked in – you have to let them out. And
what’s the worst that can happen?

Valentine’s
Day is all about asking out the right one – the one for you! There are
countless ways to express your feelings to the special person. You can write
down your feelings for them or come up with a personalized gift.

But before
you ask them out, ask yourself a few questions: Are you really in love with
them or simply infatuated? Look, it’s wrong if you propose to them when they’re
only your crush. You can’t think of spending the rest of your life with someone
you barely know, can you? So, before asking them out, make sure that you are
aware of your emotions.

Also, make
sure that you know how you’re going to express your feelings. Therefore, spend
time and plan everything out from what you’re going to say,the ring, and whether
or not you’ll go down on your knees (too cheesy, no?).

Okay so are
you ready to propose to them?

Honestly,
Valentine’s Day is a godsend – an opportunity where you can propose to the love
of your life. Do you really want it to slip by?
It’s literally the universe telling you to muster the courage and ask
them to marry you. So there’s no shame in going down on your knees and asking
them to love you for the rest of your life. While you prepare, make sure that
you leave hints here and there for your partner so you don’t end up shocking
them.

If your
partner is overly excited for the day, make sure you have your ring ready
because they’re clearly expecting it. If they keep asking you what your plans
are, you better make some!  And look, if
they’re excited, they’ve probably told their friends about it too so there’s a
lot at stake here.

If they’re
planning out an outfit and taking your opinion on it, well, you better plan
than wedding today. You can’t just show up in a casual outfit expecting them to
just go with it. A proposal has to be grand and mind blowing – you just can’t
blow it.

If your date
maintains eye contact with you and gives attention to every small detail of
yours, they’re besotted and clearly in love with you. Hence, if you’re not as
much in love with them and not intending to propose, you better run for the
hills because you’re clearly going to break their heart. Thus, be a nice person
and be clear with your feelings. If they’re so excited about the Valentine’s
Date, you’ve clearly led them on.

Do you feel
like you’ve been their priority? Do you prefer to spend your weekends with
them? Do you guys exchange text messages every minute of the day? Do you
frequently call one another for no reason at all? Have you both introduced one
another to your respective friend circle? Well, what else are you expecting?
This is love, my friend!

Okay fine –
do they get jealous when you talk about people from the opposite sex? And vice
versa? A hint of jealousy is actually good and normal – not to the extent of
extreme possessiveness, of course.

Well, if you
feel overwhelmed in love, it’s time you ask them out. And
if you don’t have the same feelings, tell the other person instead of leading
them on. Be clear and on the same page because you don’t want to be the jerk (like these celebrities) in
the relationship.
