We offer the soon-to-be-disappointed people our heartiest sympathies…

So, yesterday Microsoft announced pre-orders for its latest next-generation console, the Xbox One X. Oh, I actually meant the Xbox Series X… gosh… This confusion is legit! There’s literally only a single word difference between the two gaming consoles… 

And, it’s not just me, but a bunch of idiots (with no offence) may have also mistaken between the two consoles. This starts from Amazon when the One X (the old one) had a banner day on Amazon on the same day when the Series X pre-orders were launched. And of course, people must have fallen into it! 

The Xbox One X console has risen to 727 percent on Amazon’s “Movers and shakers” sales charts.

Usually, Amazon’s charts only show the past hour purchases, and the Xbox One X (reminder: the old one) wasn’t anywhere at no.4 all day, and that 747 percent figure shows how fast the console climbed up the charts…

It’s very likely that all those people who have purchased the console yesterday may have mistaken it with the newly released Xbox one X series…  Well, someone is going to be disappointed real soon…

If anyone searches “Xbox series X” on Amazon, they can see the Series X and the One X pops up to the top two search results, and the pictures of both the consoles are more or less similar which is hard to distinguish… They both come with a large black box, with an Xbox controller tilted to the right side, all on a black background. 

In an attempt to get hands on the valuable Xbox Series X’s pre-order, blunders like this are inevitable. And if you’re one of those who have mistaken the two offerings, I empathize with you!

Hopefully, they realize this blunder soon, and get it exchanged or at least get a refund so that they can buy the latest game console “Xbox Series X”… 

And if Amazon refuses to refund, then sorry not sorry… Enjoy your accidentally-bought-console!
