Cyberpunk 2077 was anticipated to be the hottest release of 2020. The action-packed video game takes the gamer into a futuristic metropolis with great possibilities and chances to explore and fight monsters. CD Projekt Red, the creator of the game, is known for hits such as The Witcher 3.

‘Cyberpunk 2077’ reviews have been mixed. While some people have been praising it as a masterpiece of modern RPG, others have been quick to point out some major problems and glitches with the game. Here’s a list of all the problems that can harm your gaming experience on Xbox as well as Playstation 5

Scripting Issues

One of the biggest Cyberpunk 2077 bugs, is the scripting issue. This is the root cause of many other problems in the game. The scripting issue causes incorrect animation and audio; it plays events in the wrong sequence or fails the trigger events completely. You may also find it difficult to open doors in the game or that characters suddenly go missing. This can make you feel extremely frustrated, especially when you’ve been waiting so long for the game to drop. We do know that reloading the game save can sometimes resolve these problems; if you have the patience, you can try it out.

Unable to Restore Game State

If you try to reload any event in the game, you might not find yourself in the game state where you left off. You might face this issue if you’re using quicksaves. It also resets a lot of gameplay aspects when you respawn after death. Many people have faced the problem of re-spawning mid-combat after dying. Gamers haven’t been able to find a solution to this problem yet, but many recommend that you should consider where you’re saving the game.

Unstable and Crashing

Stability issues are very common when it comes to the initial launch of games, and Cyberpunk 2077 hasn’t been any different. Gamers have reported that they have faced a lot of crashing. One way to make sure that you don’t face this problem is my updated the game to the latest available version before playing. We do have good news for you, though. The creator CD Projekt Red has promised that they’ll provide ‘various crash fixes’ in their updates and with its day-one patch.

‘Whoa! Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined’

Many players have reported that they’ve faced this error multiple times. The message appears on the screen and the game stops running. While we haven’t learned the cause of this error, it does indicate a game-breaking issue. You can try to correct it by restarting your PC or downloading the latest version of the game and GPU.

Crackling audio

Audio is just as important as video when it comes to having a good user experience while playing games. One of the common issues with Cyberpunk 2077 is that its audio is crackling. If you’re playing the game on your PC, instead of the PS4 OR Xbox, you can try to fix this issue with a few simple steps. These include right-clicking on the sound icon on windows and opening sound settings. After that, go to device properties then additional device properties. After that, click on advance and reduce the sample rate to 96000Hz or lower. If the issue is occurring because of the chosen sample rate, this way, you can fix it easily.

Ray Tracing problem

When you’re playing the game at the launch, ray tracing won’t be available with AMD cards. CD Projekt Red had made this announcement even before the launch. The creators of the game have also said that they are working with the studio to ensure that ray tracing is soon made possible for graphic cards when the post-launch update is made live. Right now, when we’re playing the launch version, there are no ray tracing options available in the menus. If users want to do ray tracing, they’ll require NVIDIA hardware for the time being.

Enemies can spot you through walls

One of the most absurd Cyberpunk 2077 problems is that you can not really hide from the enemies. We mean you could try, but they can see you through walls. No that wasn’t intended, it’s a bug. Moreover, the game sometimes fails to register dead bodies; this can cause headaches for expert players.

Invisible objects

Cyberpunk 2077 often fails to load objects and people of the game world. People have reported seeing flying glasses, ghostly cars, and other objects without anyone nearby. While this problem should impact your gaming experience that badly, it does distract you from playing your best game. You can try to fix this problem by reloading the game save.

Suspended weapons

Once you kill an enemy, you don’t expect their weapons suspended mid-air, do you? Well, in Cyberpunk 2077, gamers have reported seeing such things. While it’s not a major inconvenience, having a giant firearm hanging by your head while you’re in an emotional scene can ruin the feel of the entire scene.

Missing stats

Just like many other things in the game, the inventory is also not without faults. One of the major problems is that weapon statistics keep disappearing from the menu, which can be very frustrating. Unlike the other issues, no workaround has been found by anyone for this glitch as yet.

The issues that we’ve highlighted above are only a small list of all the glitches gamers have reported. The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is full of possibilities, it’s probable that you don’t face any of these issues, but if you have, then you should know that CD Projekt Red has announced plans to fix these problems throughout the launch period.

They agree that the game is far from perfect and that’s why they’ve dropped a Day 0 update that fixes a lot of the bugs the gamers have encountered. We suggest that you don’t give up on the game just yet, cause we have a feeling that a big update will be released pretty soon.
