Anyways, the good
news is that CD Projekt has finally decided to kill those nasty glitches that
have been ruining the gaming experience with their latest upgrade 1.06 hotfix.
CD Projekt Red announced
the latest version 1.06 for Cyberpunk 2077 on December 23rd. Fair to say, it’s
not as powerful as the last two updates, but it still provides a relief from
various bugs that have been an ultimate pain in the a** for gamers since the
game’s December 10 launch.
Also, we’ve got some great hacks for character creation in Cyberpunk 2077 exclusively for Hayvine readers.
Apparently, the said
update is not a massive patch, but it does fix a few prominent urgent problems,
such as random crashes in the midst of the game, save-file errors that were
preventing players to save files in PC larger than 8MB in size, and other
errors that were causing players several headaches during the gameplay.

Dum Dum will not
disappear from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.
For console
This update has
improved stability and memory management, leading to less number of crashes.
For PC
Players will no
longer face the issue of saving files larger than 8 MB in their PC. Please note
that this update will not fix all the files saved prior to the update.
What mediums is Cyberpunk 2077 version
1.06 available for?
CD Projekt Red hasn’t
yet announced a release date for the latest Cyberpunk update, so we don’t know
when this update will be available for every medium. However, console owners
will first receive the patch after the release, along with PC and then finally for
Google Stadia. The update is expected to release within a few days after the
initial announcement.
However, meanwhile don’t forget to unlock and collect your Cyberpunk 2077’s set of digital goodies!
When is the release date of Cyberpunk
2077 update 1.07?
As of now, there’s
not a definite release date given for the next update of Cyberpunk 2077. But we
do expect it to release in January, as CD Projekt describes the 1.07 update as
“Patch#1.”
Players are hoping
for an earlier release so that they don’t have to wait so long for an improved experience
of playing Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projek will let us know regarding the update
release prior to its launch, so do like our Facebook page to keep track of the
latest developments.
What will be added in the Cyberpunk
2077 update 1.07?
CD Projekt Red
claimed that “Patch#1” (update 1.07) will “fix the most prominent problems
gamers are facing on last-gen consoles.” So, we can expect that the issues
including texture pop-in, irregular graphics, and frame rate issue will most
likely be addressed through the upcoming update.
Despite the fact that
patch notes for the significant next Cyberpunk 2077 update haven’t been
released yet, CD Projekt Red has constantly released patch notes for the game
and committed to do so prior to every major patch’s release. So, it’s fair to
assume that we will soon get a better idea of all the changes and improvements
that come with each patch.

What are issues that still needs to be
addressed in Cyberpunk 2077?
While CD Projekt Red
has tried to fix the issues with previous updates, there are many bugs and
glitches that are still reigning over Cyberpunk 2077. There are many YouTube
videos, tweets, and posts of players reporting bugs and glitches in the game,
especially on PS4 and Xbox One.
Many console users
are reporting that the game still randomly crashes in the midst of the play.
Hopefully, CD Projekt will address this issue with the upcoming patch of
Cyberpunk 2077 before KFConsole takes over the world by storm.
Addressing the rising
criticism over the game’s incomplete state, the company has promised “two
significant patches” in January and February to fix its problematic performance
on PS4 and Xbox One. They already released a 1.04 patch on December 11th
specifically for fixing epilepsy risk, a 1.05 patch on December 18th
that eliminated several bugs, and now after 5 days they released this latest
1.06 patch to squash the rest of the bugs.
Despite all the bugs,
glitches, and refunds crisis, Cyberpunk 2077 is turning out to be a major
success, with over 13 million copies been sold so far and still counting. They
have earned enough to compensate the game’s eight years long development budget
and hefty marketing expenses, and are still left with more.
