After a delay of three months, Google’s Pixel 4A or Google’s latest budget smartphone is finally making its debut today after a long time. So, brace yourselves as the phone is rumoured to have a great camera, a good-enough processor, all that for just a price of only $349.

This launch has been overdue for months whereas the debut was first expected in May. But Google has officially confirmed that a new Pixel phone is making its way to the market today.

We have already heard what has been expected from this phone, but there’s a slight possibility that the launch event may offer something new which has not made it to our ears yet! So far, a leaked picture from Google almost matches with the descriptions that the tech experts already knew.

What we’ve gathered from various rumors is that the phone might feature on its 5.8-inch display, a punch-hole camera. Pixel 4A could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 chipset. It is also expected to come in different variants, such as in 6GB of RAM and 128GB or 64GB storage options.

Google has already teased the Pixel 4a launch in a somewhat subtle way that revealed its launch date. Indeed, the teaser displayed a “Lorem Ipsum” text consisting of hints like “low light capture”, “bokeh”, “blur”, “mega pixel” and “long lasting battery”.

It’s not clear whether the launch event would be in-person or a virtual one. Given that the company has already cancelled previous events because of the ongoing pandemic, so there would be no surprise if a Pixel 4A launch doesn’t have a live event too.

Google’s new smartphone price has also leaked beforehand. Pixel 4A is rumoured to start at $344, same of the amount of Pixel 3A launched last year. With this price, last year’s Pixel 3A has made quite an impression, particularly for its brilliant camera performance.

Many tech reviewers said that the phone had been the best phone in its price range, with “a camera that’s among the best you can get on any smartphone.”

If the rumoured price turns out to be true, this would also make the Pixel 4A cheaper than the iPhone SE.
