Huawei has completed 20 years of business in the United Kingdom and to celebrate the occasion, it is planning to launch a newspaper and internet campaign.
The company released an open letter saying that Huawei is “as committed as ever” and continues to “provide the best equipment” to the UK’s 5G mobile and full-fiber broadband providers.

This statement comes after the rumors that the UK government is planning to shut down Huawei’s 5G network kit. The local boss of the telecoms company said that he expects the decision would be in favor of the nation.
In Sunday’s Daily Telegraph, there was a report about the company which said that the London-headquartered bank HSBC was scared of facing reprisals in China in case any action is taken against Huawei.
Victor Zhang, vice president of Huawei and head of its UK operations, said that the advertising campaign provided facts to their users, especially after all the “noise” related to the company and the UK government.
“We need to work closely to address the issue, but we need to take action to accelerate the broadband deployment,” he said. “We don’t have time to delay this.”
