Beware of the people who have a sticker over their MacBook webcam because they’re definitely into malicious practices.

Wired recently reported that Apple has attached nasty Safari bug on their device that actually allows them to control the user’s webcam and microphone. This way the hackers can easily spy them and invigilate every activity.

Ryan Pickren is a security researcher who discovered these bugs. According to him, the hacker was able to develop a web link that tricked Safari into giving them access to the webcam and microphone of his computer. This occurred after the hacker combined several bugs, of course.

What this means is that the hacker was able to control the microphone and webcam of the user and quietly take photos and record audios and videos of them. These bugs work on iPhones, iPads, and Macs. Pickren believes that these bugs are quite old but they’re more dangerous today than they could have been a couple of years ago.

Fortunately, Pickren contacted Apple as soon as he discovered this suspicious activity, for which he even earned a bonus of $75,000. Apple resolved this matter back in January and updated it in March, so you can use Apple devices without any discomfort.
