Developer
Capcom has revealed that the Resident Evil Village is all set to hit PS5, PS4,
Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on the 7th of May. Not just this,
but a trailer of the latest gameplay has also be released!
Apparently,
on Thursday, the PS5 will get an exclusive demo where you can plat as Maiden.
Another demo is right around the corner because rumor had it that it’s coming
this spring! In addition, there’s good news for PS4 and Xbox One users – you’ll
get an upgrade to the next-generation and that too for free!
It
is being said that it might come out with multiplayer component called RE:
Verse – You play with classic characters like Claire Redfield and Leon S.
Kennedy!
The
latest Resident Evil gameplay is a sequel of 2017’s Resident Evil 7. Rumor has
it; the game will return to its roots and bring back the first-person
perspective to the series. Thus, you can see Ethan Winters discovering the
creepy and mysterious European village. Moreover, you’ll meet his wife, Mia,
along with the second protagonist Chris Redfield – you can find him in the
trailer!
If
you don’t know this already, then the original game originally released two
decades back in 1996 on PlayStation, so the 2021 release will also be marked by
the series’ 25th anniversary!
You
may know that there’s a Resident Evil movie already slated for a September
release but do you know that there’s also a live-action and CGI animated series
hitting Netflix? Bet you didn’t know that!
Capcom
has released the unexpected trailer and given us a peek into the new Resident
Evil: Village. The brief look is essential planned to mark the 25th
anniversary, like we told you, but it’s also a planned crossover with The
Division 2 along with the online multiplayer Re: Verse and Resident Evil:
Infinite Darkness teaser!
Now
that we know when the game will drop, you better start planning how you’re
going to pre-order it but without getting trapped into preorder scams! And if you’re lucky, you might just manage to get your
hands on the early demo version, you may actually get the visuals and
aesthetics as visualized by the artists involved.
The
game is all set to release on May 7, 2021. The preorder will get you a hint of
the visuals and artistry behind the game, and who knows, you might even up your
game and adopt latest combats and blocking moves?
Resident
Evil: Village will be released for both past and current generations along with
PC users. You can even access the Deluxe Edition “Trauma Pack”, a
Collector’s Edition, along with the complete “Biohazard Bundle” and
RE7.
