Audi has revealed a new “Sportback” version of the Q4 E-Tron electric SUV which debuted last year. This one is supposed to be a smaller and cheaper option for the flagship E-Tron as the Q4s is expected to go on sale next year and the price is starting from $45,000!

For those of you who don’t know, the Q4 Sportback and the Q4 are identical twins. Both are powered by the parent company Volkswagen’s modular “MEB.” It will support a variety of vehicles and go across brands. This, however, is what sets the Q4 apart from the original E-Tron and its variants.

The specifications are almost the same and the real difference comes in the Q4 Sportback’s exterior styling. There’s a race car-inspired diffuser under the hatch door and the roofline flows from to the back. By the end of the year, Audi will have around seven electric vehicles. Volkswagen has really pushed itself when it comes to the electric space. To be fair, the Q4 Sportback is not that different conceptually from the Q4 that was released last year.

Let’s see what’s next from Audi!
