Many people switched to Zoom for work from home and online classes but the controversies around the privacy of the application have raised a lot of concerns. Hence, people are now finding alternatives for conducting video conferences.

Therefore, Skype just dropped a tweet to remind people that they do not need to have an account to use the application and can call or chat with anyone around the world without ever signing up for Skype.

So with Zoom losing its users, Skype has made it clear that using their platform is not complicated and by making the feature more prominent in their setup, they might gain more users.

It might be time to bring back the decade-old application and hear the infamous calling sound to chat with your friends or conduct meetings online.
