Demonstrations and protests in the United States took a violent turn and according to reports, people looted stores and other businesses to show their anger. One multi-billionaire company affected due to this is Apple. The tech giant complained that people broke into their stores, stole iPhones, damaged the property, and ran away. However, Apple would not let them off the hook because the thieves are “being tracked”.

All the phones stolen from the stores have been disabled by the company and it has started to upload screenshots of warning messages on Twitter and Reddit.
After the pandemic, this was the third week when the stores were allowed to operate in the United States but angry protests caused damage to their outlets in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.
“Please return to Apple Walnut Street,” read one message, referencing its Philadelphia location, posted to Twitter. “The device has been disabled and is being tracked. Local authorities will be alerted.”
Right now, the tech company has not commented on the matter. The tracking device in Apple phones is not new, though. While introducing the software, Apple said that it does not come with purchased iPhones but stolen goods from the store can be tracked with it.
