New subscribers have to make a payment for the
YouTube TV subscription between October 15th and December 31st to get their hands
on free Chromecast. And the deal is for US users only.

Ironically, the monthly subscription of YouTube TV
is only for $64.99 more than just buying the new Google Chromecast on its own for
$49.99. So, it’s a bad deal for those only eyeing the free Chromecast, but it’s
good for those looking for both YouTube TV and the new device.

Officially named as
“Chromecast with Google TV,” the latest device is a bit different than its
predecessors, as it has a dedicated remote and an onboard operating system. It
also features 4K resolution and is also compatible with a large number of
streaming services.
