Okay, so we have seen gadgets reducing in size as
we advanced towards the modern world; technology continues to gets bigger in
functionality and smaller in size. Computers have shrunk into laptops,
telephones, fax machines, calculators and the whole god damn post office has
been reduced into a single palm-sized gadget called a smartphone!
Well, gaming consoles are going backwards, atleast in terms of size! Sony’s upcoming console hardware PS5 has demonstrated at
Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC), allowing us to have a first
close up look of the next-gen console. The NCC has uploaded multiple pictures,
showcasing the standard PS5 laying horizontally, with all the cables and the
portable base that supports the console both vertically and horizontally.

And we deduce from the pictures of Sony’s next-gen console how big PS5actually is. Earlier this week, we have been told that the PS5 is the modern industry’s biggest
game console, bigger than the Sony’s own PS3 and Xbox One VCR-like shape. Sony described its official size and shape during its this week’s PS5 event, but they did not mention the optional
base measurements or the “largest projection”.

Well, from the pictures, we can definitely tell
that you might need a separate space for the console as it ain’t gonna fit into
your entertainment centers. Both the Xbox Series X and PS5 are designed in such
a way that they can be placed in horizontal positions and vertical positions.

These exclusive pictures of PS5 don’t,
unfortunately, disclose how exactly one can access the NVMe slot. Sony claims
that PS5 is going to offer increased storage but how is it going to work is still
a mystery. In addition to the increased storage, the PS5 hardware is customizable in manners that PlayStation consoles of previous generations weren’t, so maybe its one side panel can be removable.
Sony’s next-gen console PS5 is going to launch on November 12th in the US with a cost of around $499.99. Also, a second PS5 Digital Edition will be available at a slightly less
price for $399.99. Expect to lose around $69.99 for each PS5 game.
Since the launch date of PS5 inching closer, you
might be in dire need of the following gadgets that go along with the latest
console:
Far Cry 6 Gold SteelBook
Edition (PS5 game)
Marvel’s spiderman:
Playstation 5 edition
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (PS5 edition)
