Mark your calendars
because Samsung has finally announced the date of the next Galaxy Unpacked event! The 5th
of August Samsung will unveil its new lineup of Galaxy Note 20 devices
alongside the Galaxy Fold.
Interestingly, things
have been unpredictably quiet for some time now so nobody knows what to expect.
The new Galaxy Note 20 will most likely have a triple rear camera array, a
periscope-style lens, a 4th sensor and laser autofocus! Rumor has
it, there will be a usual bump in specs, too and possibly a Snapdragon 865 Plus
on its way. Furthermore, Note 20 Ultra is set to feature an S-Pen.
More rumors escalate
that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the follow-up to the Galaxy Fold and it will
feature an even larger and better internal 7.7-inch display as well as a cut-out camera.
Users could also expect
an announcement related to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, which is already revealed all
thanks to China’s TENAA certification center. This will probably face some drop in the battery capacity, overall, compared to its previous LTE version.
While all of this sounds too cool to be true, the real bad news is that the Samsung
will not include chargers, like the Samsung 15W Fast Charge 2.0 Wireless
Charger Stand in the upcoming boxes of smartphones. The company made this
decision to reduce the cost as per recent reports. Apple, too, made a similar
decision earlier this year and the aim was to make the packaging smaller and
reduce the overall cost of selling.
