Success is harder than
adversity – at least for the developers of Among Us. The developers have
decided to work on the social deduction game Among Us, and have cancelled the
plans for its highly anticipated sequel for now. In short, they canceled the sequel.

A little over a month
ago, the sequel was announced as the game was receiving a lot of praise. As per the statement, the primary reason why the company intends to shoot the sequel is that the Among Us 1 codebase is so outdated that it cannot support the new content. But considering the popularity and how people are really enjoying it, we want to take it to the next level now.
What is Among Us? Well,
in this game, you work in a team to figure out who is sabotaging the crew of
your spaceship – a massive hit on Twitch. In fact, it is currently the third
most-played game on Steam costing $4.99, and on SteamSpy, the game has
apparently got 10 million owners. Yes, these numbers mean nothing as far as ads
are concerned because as far as we know iOS and Android users are free from it.
It is also said that you may have to pay an additional $1.99 to get them
removed.
The sequel maybe
halted for now but eventually, we’ll get to play a game that is approved by the
developers, who’re working hard to improve it.
“All
of the content we had planned for Among Us 2 will instead go into Among Us 1.”–
says InnerSloth.
The developers are keen
on improving the server issues, and offer colorblind, support, friend system,
and a completely different stage.
