The 4K laser projector called The Premier is now available to order! Samsung designed this device as
an alternative to QLED TVs and has launched two models: The first
one is for $3,499 as it features a 120-inch projection and the second one is of
$6,499 as it has a 130-inch projection.
Samsung has described
the models as “ultra short throw”
projectors, so even if the unit is placed in front of your wall, the projection
size will be massive.
Also, customers should
know that the size of the projection is not the only thing distinguishing the
two models. For instance, the LSP9T has 2,800 ANSI lumens, and it is
considerably brighter than its cheaper model which has only 2,200 ANSI lumens. Thus,
the image of the LSP9T model will be much clearer in an ambient room. This
model also has a 40-watt, 4.2 channel audio system.
When it comes to
commonality, the two projectors have similar Tizen operating system as Samsung’s
TVs. Also, both models are controlled by Bixby and Alexa voice assistance. In
addition, they have laser projections making them last longer than the
traditional projectors.
This will be the first
projector ever to support HDR10+, despite the fact that
this format hasn’t been explored by HDR standards such as Dolby Vision.
You can
place your orders on the Samsung website from today onwards, the shipping can
be expected by the 16th of October as per the note shared by the company
on its website.
