In an interview with CNBC on Thursday, Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg said that all the theories related to 5G and coronavirus do not make any sense.

There’s no correlation at all between 5G and coronavirus,” Vestberg said. “It’s just fake news.” He said Verizon planned to combat the conspiracy theories with “our communication, and the industry’s communication, and with health organizations’ communication.”

Vestberg talked about the communications that have been issued by health organizations to avoid any such incidents in the future. They have set up a website called www.wirelesshealthfacts.com where you can find all the health concerns related to 5G or any other network.

That site states that “radio frequency energy from wireless devices and networks, including radio frequencies used by 5G, has not been shown to cause health problems, according to the international scientific community.” The information also includes statements from various tech and health experts who verify the lack of connection between coronavirus and wireless networks.

You can also find a link on the site to WHO’s official page where all the details about the pandemic are present.

Verizon feels that these measures are necessary after hundreds of people in the UK burned down 5G towers and harassed the workers who were installing fibre optical cables after getting direct orders from the government.
