I got 99 problems, but a messy room won’t be one. 

As you know, coronavirus is now considered a pandemic. 

A virus that originated from the city of Wuhan in China is now spreading all over the world. From the United States of America to Italy, South Korea, Pakistan, and Iran – pick any point on the globe, and you’ll have hundreds of identified cases. 

The situation is actually quite stressful as people are dying or put in quarantine due to the lack of cure. Scientists and doctors are clueless and working aimlessly on these cases. They have failed to develop a treatment plan, but so far, a couple of tests have been designed to diagnose this life-threatening virus. However, not enough work is done to find a cure that would treat this illness effectively. 

It is also being said that this disease affects the respiratory system of the body, and for many days the patient doesn’t even experience the symptoms. This is exactly why we have not been able to control the virus. People go on with their social engagements undiagnosed and increase the chances of it spreading. They don’t even realize that they’ve been infected with coronavirus until the symptoms begin to show. 

Hence, as a solution, governments have formulated a plan to reduce social engagements. Japan, Canada, China, Pakistan, and Italy are completely locked down. Academic institutions are closed for months, many companies are endorsing remote working, weddings and major events are being cancelled or postponed. Our daily life is influenced in a major way. Economies have suffered a sabbatical, and a sense of fear has taken over. 

With schools facing complete shutdown, an alternative measure is being introduced: Online classes! 

Yes, you heard that right. 

Now, because of the pandemic, students are asked to attend online classes. Apart from this, meetings are turning into video conferences. Naturally, to give a good impression, you have to ensure that your room looks tidy while skyping. 

Now imagine a room with a wet towel on the bed, dirty and washed clothes all over the room, straightener and make up occupying the dressing table, and wrappers of junk food present on the side table. It’s not a good sight, indeed!

When you’re taking online classes or attending important board meetings through Skype, you must look organized and prepared.

You can actually hide your messy room during a video conference!

Well, start by setting up a virtual background using Zoom’s desktop client on your Mac. You can also use this on your PC. Next, you need to open up your Zoom client and click on the “Setup” icon present on the upper-right corner.

After this, you’d have to select the icon called Virtual Background present in the left-hand menu.

Zoom has a variety of sample backgrounds available, so you can click on the one you’d like to use. In fact, you can also add a virtual background during a meeting.
