The
cat’s out of the bag!

Previously,
Microsoft had announced that it will launch Xbox Series X during the
holiday season in the coming fall but it was pretty vague. The latest update is
that we will be getting the new Xbox Series X in November – again no date in
particular in revealed but this is a big deal considering we would also be
getting Xbox Series S in a couple of weeks.

Although
Microsoft has remained quiet and hasn’t said anything about the date, sources
reveal that the launch may happen in the first week of November. However, we
must not keep our hopes high as we haven’t beaten the pandemic and the COVID-19
situation can interfere with the plans and extend the launch a bit further.

The
new statement regarding the launch from Microsoft has coincided with the big relegation
of the Halo Infinite delay – it’s now slated for 2021! Earlier the
plans were to launch both Xbox Series X and Halo Infinite simultaneously.

Due
to this problem, Microsoft has decided to highlight Xbox Game Pass along with
more than 50 new games” in order to optimize the launch of Xbox Series X.
Apart from this the previous 40 games will also be optimized and may include
anything from hardware-accelerated DirectX ray tracing to quick Resume support.
In addition, there will be an increased loading period and 120fps frame rates.

The
existing compatible games like Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One will be included in
the launch of Xbox Series X. Other details like its price, availability, and
preorder procedure will be provided later.
